Making your hero some “Multi- Millionaire Alpha Male” isn’t going to somehow endear him to his women audiences, this is what Vanga fails to realise. And obviously the women he writes are also women written for & from the male gaze. It’s all too sickening. I refuse to pay a penny to watch this utter & complete toxic shit.

Of course it's for the shock value. He himself is admitting that here, but then gets mad when critics and viewers point it out. Make it make sense.
