Stupid strategy of Dunki, Salaar is mass so single screen will have buzz. Dunki is more of multiplex and WOM. They should have had the strategy of Barbie vs Oppenheimer instead of this underhand business. SRK had so much goodwill, this will create a bad pr for him irrespective of the film success. Why should Dunki lose out on screens when they have announced a year before and Salaar makers decided to let go of many open dates to clash with Dunki?

As expected it was all PR gimmick by Salaar makers. People who hate SRK falling for it or using it to undermine him is understandable but SRK fans not seeing through this is surprising me the most

And the music was good have to give it to that and it peaked curiosity and it had good advanced bookings. Only women critics and some YouTubers put it down and even those who said how violent and degrading it was still most went to see it. Regardless

What? 90% of the reviews I red were negative.

All I'm saying is if the movie is very good, it has high chances of making good at BO but the reverse is not true, I mean if the movie did very good at BO it doesn't mean the movie need to be good/best.

100% agree with you on this, Animal movie has one of the best music albums I heard in last 3 years, the more you listen, the more you fall in love with the audios, music sounded fresh and it's a rare feat these days.

Yup like curiosity kills the cat, many people went to watch it out of curiosity and also it has lot of shock value and eye grabbing scenes(in a bad way) , other than that it has controversial stuff which raised lot of discussions around the movie which led to more buzz and more curiosity among the people to go and watch it.
