For all the alpha male talk, he is not even a beta male. Most ego inflated balloon.

This beach needs to be beach slapped. I'm waiting for the day one of his movie flops. That would be a sight to behold.

Nah I’m pretty sure he knows her name. I think he was purposely being extra disrespectful to her.

Yea I don’t know why he’s dragging Masand 🤷🏽‍♀️

On purpose. During KS, he pulled the same shtick with Rajeev's name. He went so far as to call him by his physical characteristics (alluding to fat calling) instead of taking his name. I don't even like any of the critics named here, but I find them interesting and sometimes amusing. I like watching their reviews sometimes. Difference of opinion should never result in abusing someone; calling them illiterate, uneducated, saying they have no skills, lacking guts. But I see the usual suspects defending him everywhere. Gaddhe ko defend karenge log if the other party is someone they despise.

Most directors have a problem with critics..because they think critics don’t understand how to make a film..but they don’t realize..every person who comes to watch their movies is a CRITIC or a REVIEWER as well..I don’t understand why Vanga Reddy cannot just deal with the criticism his brand of movies get..you proved your point.made hundreds of crores..clearly there is an audience out there for you..but not EVERYONE HAS TO LIKE YOUR MOVIE and your misogynistic tone and composition smiley11 Twitter has exploded with celebration over how this is a win over wokes and feminists smiley11 And I see otherwise woke people being absolutely ok with Animal..such selective lens and doglapan I tell you smiley11smiley33 Vanga is a crass, trash guy..who makes movies to troll progressive people..and he just wants to drag people back to the era where men and women were unequal..yeah let’s all celebrate that smiley32 no ifs, no buts..otherwise you will be called illiterate smiley37

Most critics just do a review on the content of the film and move on. There are many aspects to filmmaking that totally goes over their head. He’s right. Sucharita is the worst of the lot at least Anupama has a credible degree in journalism and comes from a film background

Can’t the same argument be made by the other side? Films are my passion and as a critic if I see a bad film I will criticize it for the love of the art. It goes both ways. And just because Vanga, or anyone else for that matter, has put a lot of work into the film it doesn’t mean critics owe him a good review. That’s the problem with this video. Vanga comes across as extremely entitled and arrogant.

criticism is reviewing a films technical aspects , screenplay and story telling …last I saw in the interview he has absolutely no issues with that critique …rangan criticised his film and technique and he still gave him an interview didn’t he? He didn’t call him an idiot or anything

Reviews that discuss and question what the mortality of a character should be, intentions of the makers , why a story got chosen to be told, why a choice was made to tell the story from that perspective , discuss the film makers mental health issues or political standpoints or whatever, are not “reviews” ..,they might as well be speculative page 3 gossip …

He is rightfully calling them out for that…for someone who studies films and gets paid to write reviews in web/print media , lowbrow shit like that is not acceptable in the name of a “review” …I mean there was a huge uproar during ra one when rediff had a review naming it “srks most expensive midlife crisis” or whatever …is that sorta personal criticism relevant for a film review? Nope

Except for the filmmaker’s mental health part aren’t the rest of these fall under critiquing the screenplay and the story? When a filmmaker puts their creation out there for the world to see they have to be prepared for everything to be questioned about their choices vis-à-vis that creation. Doesn’t mean all the critiques will be fair and correct, but that’s a subjective matter. You can’t put your work out there and then specify which parts critics can discuss or not discuss.
