If TRP audience accepted Akshnav couple, why would they get rid of him in show? At the end of the day, most important thing for both channel and production house is TRP- they themselves clarified that so why would they get rid of a character that is loved by TRP audience like that makes no sense. They could have just kept Abhinav and exited Abhimanyu. You all say Kasauli track was loved a lot as TRP was high then what stopped makers from exiting Abhimanyu’s role and just moving forward with their AkshNav couple in Kasauli? They already shortened Abhimanyu’s ss for many episodes so what stopped them from exiting Abhimanyu totally? Like that’s makes no sense

At the end of the day, makers and channels themselves get daily TRP - while audience get the whole week average- so they know what works and what doesn’t, why would they willingly take out a character that is liked by TRP audience?

Going in circles, they went back to Abhira couple at the end- so why would they go back to the couple that was rejected by audience? 🤔

This is not the first or last show to introduce a new character opposite leads after leap. That happens with almost all shows. Difference is, the og characters in those shows are written well that audience prefer them. Unlike this show, where the og leads were written as hormonal teenagers with zero substance. Onus of that is on the ones who created them, not the post leap creator. If Abhimanyu and Akshara were a well-written, strong pair, audience would have never accepted AkshNav, but they did (I'm speaking of the trp audience who matters, not the online fangirls who were drooling over HC's shirtless body). Because that's how badly those characters were written pre-leap. Look at Karthik and Naira, two characters developed by Zama Habib. Inspite of the most absurd tracks later, they were still liked because of how well they were written initially. If audience rejected ManRa, then that is on the pre-leap creators who thought nibba-nibbi antics is the basis of a strong pair.

Kartik was not actually a red flag. He was egoistic but he loved naira unconditionally. In Mumbai track He was guilt trapped and brainwashed by swarna. In mihir track He was in a very fragile and vulnerable state . Post leap He was forced to marry vedika but not once he regarded vedika as his wife. Even when he was in anger all he had was naira in his heart. If 4 times he was against naira 100 times he was with her supporting her against the whole family and whole world . Raghav track was the perfect eg. Also mumbai track 2.0 when naira was completely at fault kartik stuck by her throughout and helped her and kairav reunite. But I don't know why kartiks wrong doings are only highlighted. He has done so much for naira and so did naira who has done so much for kartik. They would have lived happily forever if they lived alone away from goenka family. Even if dadi and swarna and Manish loved kartik and naira they are solely responsible for every single separation of kaira cause they are the instigators.

Also baby swap thing I know it's absolutely wrong what kartik did but whatever he did was because he was scared that naira would not be able to accept their babys death and something would happen to her. Also it was not his idea to begin with it was the nurses idea.

Writers were more interested in establishing Abhimanyu as some alpha male, that they completely ruined Akshara's character. And they could not even write Abhimanyu's character properly. That's how pathetic pre-leap writing was. This is what happens when you write shows after getting inspired by Kabir Singh.

And cringe was on top for Akshara’s character during Kasauli track. She was just a prop to make a place new character. Akshara character par new writer ne sabse zyada revenge liya ho aisa lagta hai kyunki last mai aarohi ko itna likeable bana diya ki sab uski death par sad hue lekin akshara ke liye jaise kuch feel he nahi kiya.

Writers in post leap did not make Ak character any better. It made her character worst. Abhimanyu got a redemption arc and Arohi's character had been shaped in to a good character. She had a better storyline. Forget Arohi, even the supporting character, Abhinav was made decent compared to Akshara. Akshara was shown as a lawbreaker and vengeful person. They broke all the ITV FL qualities in Akshara. Show her as a woman who is independent to take care of her child alone. Women are strong enough to bring up their children while doing work but no she was paired up with a random guy just to give a father for her child. Like seriously? I hate that concept. On top of that she committed fraud contradicting her profession.

Had her character been so good PR would not have exited. Abhimanyu was sidelined for obvious reasons but he is shined as an iconic character in Gen 3 not even Jr. Ak is there. 🤷‍♀️

They forgot one thing which was that FL couldn't be replaced with second FL no matter what they try. I have seen in another show trying to do that only to fail miserably with having low TRPs. ML, on the other hand, can be done unless ML is prominent in the story for viewers. They made a big gamble, leading to the closure of gen 3.
