The point is that Karthik as written by Zama Habib was a very nice ML. Who was latter ruined by whoever took over.

Some may believe Abhimanyu beats all other Red Flags in the show

Akshara, for me, was better off and could move on in her life... Naira was so off to wait for Kartik to come back to her...

That shows that Garima Dimri was not at all a good writer. She ruined Rishta starting from gen 2

Initial Parts of gen 2 was written by Zama Habib.

Dimri came latter.

You can clearly see the difference between Kaira he wrote and Kaira Dimri wrote.

Zama Habib created Karthik and shaped Naira post leap. That was quite evident in their characters. Karthik, despite his past issues did not go around shouting at people. And Naira, with all her drawbacks was still so relatable. Whoever took over ruined both the characters to some extent.
