I agree with what you are saying. I said this way back when gen 3 had started that Pranali isn't that much of a good actor. She sucked so bad in the emotional scenes. I always felt that she overdid it in those scenes. Samridhi is really good with emotional scenes from what I have seen.

Agree, but I wouldn't mind seeing kids whom we have seen as a child to play lead... Abhir was Abhinav ka nikkeji, his beta and we have seen their bond, seen them and his parvarish.... So why not?

Infact, another reason why Gen 3 or shows like KKB 3 and BALH 2 fail is because they don't have a storh around child whom audience had connected.... Pihu+RaYa, Kairav+Naira, Khushi+Prachi and so on...

So, I think DKP being rigid about first boy followed by FL is quite bland... Or they should have Abhira as a first child and that's it.... Gen 4 is absolutely disconnected from Generation 3 now... Nor Ruhi's character is same, thankfully now even Goenkas won't get footage.

As for Abhir being lead, I dont think so. It's Star Plus. Other than Ishqbaaz, I don't think there have been much male lead-centric family dramas...

I can understand why some people want Ruhi to be the lead. But there should be a proper justification for her to actually be a lead, and with the current acting and the way her character has shaped up to be... nope.

In YRKKH 2, they planned to make Naksh as the lead by letting him married to Tara. Since Hina and Karan refused to become saas and sasur, Rajan removed Tara from the show and focussed on other tracks. Then, I guess Rohan was planning to quit due to BB10 so Rajan took another leap and made Naira as the FL. If Naksh was the lead, the stoy could have revolved around Singhanias only.

I feel Rajan make female child as the lead because he can introduce new families with a fresh cast. In case of male child, they have to retain the old family which is quite tedious for Rajan.

Abhira actress has been acing the character since day 1 - love it when she says haww and she's freaking adorable! Armaan actor has been improving. Their chemistry is really good and is actually making me watch the show on a daily basis.

Red: There's no necessity that the lead character has to be abhira. Ruhi as a character itself should be the lead , hence interchange of ranks of character.

Green : lol.....being a newcomer she already got hands on a big show as yrrkh and working with so called good actors. She was in a different profession previously. For her it hasn't even been months working in acting. She is such a newcomer and still being compared to people older than her in both age and experience.

Purple: jab show band ho jayega tab ham bhi kahenge hawww....... the show is not gonna run on her haww

It is necessity that Abhira be the female lead ..because this is a legacy show..so the female lead is always a descendant of the original Gen 1 heroine Akshara Singhania. Ruhi is not related to akshara singhania.as she is descended from sirat. So Ruhi can never be the female lead of this show as she is no blood relation of the original Gen 1 heroine..whereas abhira is her blood great granddaughter..This has been said like dozens of times already by many of us..🤷🏻‍♀️

Exactly, pranali is good in scenes where she has to look cutesy or has to do lip sync but she lacks depth in acting, though she is better than average for sure. Samriddhi on the other hand is good in cute scenes as well as emotional, she has that acting range.

I am an on and off viewer of rishta and I have started to like episodes after a long time. The lead actress is pretty good and so is the lead couple. Abhira is the female led of this gen and it is evident by the way they showed the flashback of prev 3 lead heroines along with her in the gen 4 1st episode. So any discussion on this matter is simply pointless.

Regarding the story, it is similar to ghum as of now. But the major diff is that armaan isnt dadi's fav and she havent fully accepted him. Even after having such a big family he is lonely and that would play the catalyst factor in Abhimaan relationship. I seriously wish they deviate from ghum plot and stop showing armaan- ruhi cringe.

As far as popularity is considered it will gradually increase. Ph is working hard like releasing bts, leads are giving multiple interviews.. Audience have started to like them. All eyes on next week trp.

As many others are saying, the actress playing ruhi really needs to improve. Her makeup is also bad. She is naturally beautiful and she should also have a toned makeup like abhira.

This season has potential provided they deviate from third angle and show how love blooms after marriage btw both couples.
