In my eyes there is no redemption for Zaid. Irrespective on what conditions it could be , he married MJ with his will, so he should stand for it . He can’t dump his wife after comming to know his ex was manipulated by his father.
Same way MJ once she is married to Zaid, she will maintain it no matter what . She is his wife , she did all she could do to make understand Zaid , but he is infact torturing her .
Zaid and Ayra are useless in front of me .
I disagree, I think he is redeemable. Yes, ideally he should stand by his vows but I think a divorce after learning the truth doesn’t make someone a terrible person. I think staying in a marriage where you have feelings for someone else and harbour resentment isn’t good for anyone. I think him taking his frustrations out on MJ was wrong though. Somewhere he unfairly blamed MJ for all of this. She got divorced, was mocked by her ex-husband and now had to remarry to prove something to the world. He feels their families used him to make Mubashira happy. Even though Asif was never going to accept Ayra, Zaid probably feels that went to extremes just so he could marry Mubashira. It’s partially true since a lot was riding on his friendship and business with Jaffer. Asif prioritized MJ over his own son (for his own selfish reasons). Again not Mubashira’s fault but Zaid is blaming MJ’s divorce on this whole situation. Not right but nobody really is in this drama.In my eyes there is no redemption for Zaid. Mub was too rigid on this matter,it was either her way or the highway in this case so Asif would’ve realized his resistance would be futile but what caught them off guard was Ayra’s insistence on getting married right away!! That was such a calculated n cold move from her! I can sense a potential role reversal happening between Ayra n Mub in the future.

Both these families serve as prime examples of dysfunctional dynamics.Initially, he was annoyed about her coercing his sister to manipulate him but things escalated when she lied to him about Ayra’s visit.That moment triggered his complete outrage, leading him to believe she was actively involved in the mission to torment Ayra’s family alongside his father, despite her passive involvement.
It’s reasonable why majority don’t find Zaid appealing. He doesn’t fit the typical archetype of an alpha male, nor is he an outright softie; instead, he resides somewhere in between, resembling a lost or confused soul. It’s not that common to witness a successful businessperson navigating personal matters with such a sense of bewilderment ,impulsiveness and uncertainty. Thanks to Asif! The repercussions of toxic parenting often manifest in matters of self-esteem.
I feel like that’s what I like most about Zaid’s character. Especially having such a powerful, overbearing dad can result in this type of behaviour. He resists and tries to assert his power but it just comes off as he’s just rebelling instead. It also explains why he looks for so much acceptance from Ayra. How he’s handling personal matters is so realistic. I’ve seen it before in real life but it’s true he is in no way a hero and people expect that now from Wahaj Ali. They are looking for a hopeless romantic which he is not. Although he left everything for Ayra it wasn’t out of love or passion so he comes off a bit indifferent.Originally posted by: arshi1983

Him being on the show is a blessing and a curse. He’s definitely a pull for ratings and views but people now expect him to take on powerful roles. He wasn’t in the last episode much and barely had any lines. It was all about Mubashira…she was orchestrating the whole plan. I’m okay with that because it made sense to the story. Zaid didn’t even have time to process everything but honestly his expressions were priceless. He went from having the upper hand with his dad to having to completely cave to satisfy Ayra’s demands. I think we’ll see him in quiet observing mode, watching Ayra’s actions and Mubashira’s plan of playing victim unfold in the next few episodes as well. Again, I’m fine with this but I think most people like seeing Wahaj in action.

Ayra working for Asif rival and leaking secrets is plausible and wonder how will zaid react to it !
BTW ain’t Zaid also working for him ? He can’t go back daddy business he definitely must be under bond with company.

Mub rigidity comes from her deep fear that zaid will divorce her and if her second marriage also ends in divorce she will be labelled failures, which she is deeply scared of ! That’s why she was so hung on making this marriage work .
Zaid in love with someone else , him being manipulated or his feelings are something she never pondered , it’s like u married me out of ur own Will so now make it work , even now she is he shouldn’t divorce me .
Once she is assured he won’t divorce then she will actually get time to ponder what she did - she avoided divorce but got herself a very formidable competition in ayra , not only Zaid loves ayra but he guild ridden ans is in his over protective mode and ayra is in her revenge mode.
But like u said this entire thing may take u turn and MJ will end up loosing her mask and show her vulnerable side to Zaid and ayra might end up one with issues . It will be interesting watch how makers have planned to show this . Maybe this is what zaid monologue meant.
Right now I’m feeling like what you mentioned in the end of your post is what is going to happen. Ayra has never completely reciprocated any of effort Zaid put into the relationship. Zaid would always try to call her, get her attention and she would blow him off. She also stalled any marriage plans with him. I feel like all those things were put in for a reason. Now with Zaid telling his friend he isn’t even sure that he loves her makes all those passionless scenes between them make sense. He’s reacting out of guilt. Zaid however is comfortable with Ayra and he feels like they are compatible and most importantly she is his choice. What if he starts having feelings for MJ but resists. Maybe his ego won’t completely allow him to accept her. Maybe that’s what his monologue is about. Who knows, this show is unpredictable.Originally posted by: Winterberry

yeah I feel like they’re going to ignore non-compete clauses and Zaid will just casually start working for his dad again. It looks like Mubashira will start working at their company too which will be nice to see. From one of the bts clips, it looks like Ayra says that she got a job in just one phone call. The boss from the rival company gave her his card. That line from the teasers about her having no haisiyat with Mubashira being there might be referring to the family business. So maybe she decides to work for the rival instead. Maybe she will start leaking info but if they know she is working there, you would think they would be smarter.Originally posted by: Winterberry
