In Itv ML is always secondary to the FL. No matter what happens and how much they are shown they will always remain secondary.

Classic example is YRKKH. Jitna detail me baby boy ka life dikhaya jaata hai, leap ke baad they vanish and the girl child is main lead.

RISHTA actually wanted to make Naksh & Tara the LEAD Couple but they didn't click. Naira & Kartik became hit. You know Rajan's superstitions, he believes if the Girl child becomes lead her story n jodi will be hit that's why he started following this.

I know in women oriented show males are secondary I did mention that but sometimes popularity over powers! Like NeiVika Jodi is popular that's why makers tries to please NeiVika fans.
