Such a nuanced and understated performance by him:) Also Scoop, Dahaad winning big is nice. Have not watched trial by fire now I feel like I should watch .

Watched 3 episodes of Railwayman, something seems really off about it. I guess it would mainly be the budget it felt like I am watching a play. The sets and all looked very fake, I know it is fake smiley36 par jab woh dramas dekhne jaate hai usme jo set lage hote hai it felt like that. Even the execution , pacing and story telling feels haphazard:( I wish they had made up for the budget constraint with better pacing, story telling and fleshing out the characters. I liked Babil Khan the most !!!

I'm yet to finish Railway Men....I liked the first two epis I watched so far :).....jitne bhi budget se banaya, the emotion is coming through for me....all actors are doing a good job. And it's surreal that this happened so close to the 84 riots.....such a crazy time that was in the country.

I also want to check out Trial by Fire seeing all this praise for it....missed catching that one when it released but other awards are all very well deserved. Even Sobti did a good job in Kohrra so good for himsmiley36

The lyrics with Sonu Nigams voice hits very deep. Each and every line kind of hits home. By the time the song ends it leaves you with such a bitter sweet emotion :( Yahaan khushiyaan thi kitni sasti, woh bazaar mein chai ke dhaabe , bekaar ke shor sharaabe, jaani pehchaani galiyaan lagti hai purani sakhiya. Ahh you do miss such random little things more than any luxuries and the song so beautifully captures that!

Finally caught up on the last phase of Katha just for closuresmiley36

There were some good epis/scenes in between where they both did well angst/emotions wise even if Katha's logic was very half-baked and unconvincing. The whole plot of opening up the ONS in front of Aarav only was a very messed up one and there was no recovering from it in the story no matter how much they made people discuss it.....there was a scene of Katha hypothesizing with Vanya ki one day when Aarav grows up, he will find out the whole truth about the ONS and he will be even more shattered then when he processes it as an adult so better we seperate from Viaan only.....lol like imagine getting into the details of such a sensitive issue in such a manner.....the writers totally lost their brains for doing this.

Anyways in the very last 2 epis, they rushed to wrap it up by showing Katha suddenly realizing that she shouldn't be trying to run away from the matter cuz she's scared for Aarav but teaching Aarav to strongly face situations....lol out of the blue she had this realization and was trying to justify itsmiley36

I also realized again while watching the very last scenes which were pushing the cringe/cheesy scale again that Aditi and Adnan always did their best work in this show when it was in the angsty zone between their characters....when we had a Viaan or Katha communicating via their hesitations and hang-ups.....the moment they got together, they suddenly start mouthing super cheesy lines and both of them started overacting like hellsmiley36

The very last scene was about Katha discovering she's somehow magically pregnant now and Viaan actually mouths a line saying mujhe jaadu aata haismiley24smiley36.....uske baad whatever sharmaane and emotional waali acting Aditi was doing was not convincing smiley36.....anyways they ended it on the "ankahee" part of the title montage fading away as Khaare Raste played in the background so that was decent.....I did experience some nostalgia watching the end cuz of all the times I've loved the subtle scenes, the high of listening to Khaare Raste in the scenes....the generally gradual nature in which things used to unfold in the show.....it deffo stood out from the rest of the ITV herd so they do deserve kudos for that.

Good you got closure.. khate raaste will forever be the takeaway for me from this..rest I have mostly forgotten even the initial what I liked Caz they totally put me off with their ott acting sab comical hi.lagne.laga hai even when they try the angst and idk why..but glad to know that is not me alone and they are still being cringy in their so called happiness.they just didn't know how to.balance that angst with the normal lightness ajeeb hi wannabee zone always stayed on in the so called lighter scenes. Extreme fakeness se coated thru and thru and they were plain bad as actors on top of the ajeeb content too making it the best formula ilof wtf meets wtf

Chalo good.ke after so.much training it won't go to waste and viaan can have his fantasies of child birth be fulfilled they lost me during those episodes and I could never watch any epi after🤷🏻‍♀️ and agar kuch bacha bhi tha toh that went poof with woh aarav acting bipolar in a sec

Lmao at Katha madam ka sudden realization just like always..to let aarav deal.with it naturally my God rocket science she finally figured it out haha mubarak ho inko inka brain processed such a simple thing after acting like a petulant child for so long in her zid

I liked the trailer. Simple sa tha but it worked for me. Does make me want to watch the film.

After many days a trailer seemed relatively clean without any vulgarity or excessive gore in it. So felt like a nice change.
