Self acquired property was always (even now) transferred as per the will of owner.

The reason why all three sons weren't given equal rights was that SP had acquired the wealth, so he was not required to distribute equally.

He had full rights to transfer a part to Subhadra too

SPM ko different ladies K Saath bistar todne se fursat kidhar Mila Jo entire Mahajan assets gonna be self acquired? I am sure even SPM had generational wealth but yes he definitely contributed the most in its growth.

Equal distribution is not there because SPM made Will, partition suit file nehi hua jo equal distribution hoga!

Hindu Succession Act has provisions for self acquired property too btw
