How can she even trust Goenkas after what they did with her? People who cannot care for their pregnant granddaughter, who lost her young son tragically, how can they be trusted with her daughter's safety? Knowing Goenkas, they will take Abhira right back to Yuvraj and get them married grandly. It would have been better if she had remained in touch with Singhanias and asked Armaan to take Abhira to them. Since they cannot show Singhanias, they could have shown something drastic happened and Armaan could not take her to Singhanias and instead had to marry her.

Maybe abhira won't be around when she is dying or something and yuvraj is still out so she wishes armaan to accompany her safely.
