Just a farewell post. My journey on IF had been shortlived. I think I joined around episode 160 so, had a lot of difficulty in adjusting to the nature of discussions at first. Now, I will be missing this forum. Had some good memories with many people heresmiley31. Some active some silent. Thanks to everyone witb whom I interacted. Tagged some whom I remembered.smiley14

Kuch log aisi chaap chhor jaate hai ki....

EternalAllure - going to miss your insights. We were mostly on same page and shared same thoughts really loved reading your posts and having some small conversations. I was always blown away by your vast vocabulary. By reading ur posts I got motivation to use better english.smiley36

Neutral2 - will be missing your absolutely neutral, absolutely unbiased take on tracks with balanced mix of realism and fictional realism. They always impressed me as this is something I tried to do as wellsmiley31. I remember sometimes what took me 4 paragraphs you conveyed them in few lines with reasoning and I was just speechless thinking why I didn't think of writing that way 😂.

wrongturn722- i remember you were first member of forum with whom I interacted properly. Thabks for correcting me correctly. Remember some of your hilarious posts and memes smiley37

Misfit007- i remember we used to have discussions and appreciations of storyline and character POVs. You disappeared suddenly. We had good discussions while it lastedsmiley20

Others might be wondering why I tagged them. Well you guys were mostly silent members so, never had much interaction but, I remember your reactions on my post came before anyone else. Although we don't have elections or competition to get most reactions here but, it felt nice when someone reacted to a post specifically smiley31

Bro aisa tha na ki I liked the show that much ki I was looking for some writen updates kinda discussion everywhere... Found a group on telegram but usme zyada kuch baat nhi hota tha... Then aise hi after google krte I stumbled upon IF .. I was like woah khazana.. it wanted me to open an account so did that and finally found what I wanted... Initially I also struggled on how to use it .. later realised that the photo and gif access is given after a time...besides there are a few restrictions related to mobile phone...

Nevertheless, I haven't met any males here .. maybe there are but didn't notice anyone until you came ... Liked your straight to the point pov but yeah in those days one thing I understood was this is a forum of the people for the people and by the people where I didn't see anyone criticising a IF member... They criticise the show... Agree or disagree with others but not the way you did it .. so, felt like maybe I can talk to you about it that people are not liking it .. and you being a good sport took things wisely and now I feel like you are a good critic of the show...

I was here to have gossip with people regarding the show and all but you were here for the show which was commendable bro ..

And I will always miss your analysis and comments. I have never visited any forum this way but I got attached to this forum and specifically liked your analysis.Sometimes you write exactly my thoughts. I thought I am too much attached to Katha Ankahee but when I visited this forum I knew that there were so many like me. and was very happy. I will miss this.

Though I was over with romantic serial, this is one of the serial which got me interested after a long time. As you mentioned in one post - this is more psychological drama. It change many perspective of mine and will try to follow in my life.

The heart of Katha and the courage of Viaan (in accepting mistake, overcoming his guilt and follow his heart, fighting against all odds) are truly highlights of the show and will try to do in my life too.

Forgiving is always hard for me (though I am very empathic). May be because people in reality never ask for forgiveness and will try to move on without considering their mistake and how it affect the person. But Katha showed me that you yourself can take the first step in forgiving people and move on.

Last but not the least, I am more in love with the forum than the serial itself. Last time I joined the forum when starplus mahabharat came. That gives me insight of every character and loved the fan war especially Arjun vs Karna.

Here also I loved all the discussion and debate. Many people here knows how to write a wonderful post (incl you), conveyed their POV without getting into ugly discussions. Some people really makes me laugh by their roasting skill and cracking jokes. Not to forget few silent supporters with their likes.

Bid Farewell to everyone.smiley32smiley31smiley19smiley41

I wish I had come here sooner. I was just content being in a private forum with a select few friends I have made here and missed all the fun and anticipation that comes with a new show. Nevertheless. I loved every moment I spent here, despite being a newbiesmiley36 And I think you and I had similar thoughts more often than not, and that silent support from someone like-minded is always appreciated in a public place where everyone has a different opinion and things can get awkward or hostile in a blink. Thanks for a lovely time. Hoping to see you on some other show forum toosmiley31smiley31

So well put man. Definitely learned a thing or two about being the first to ask for forgiveness and how it can impact things differently. In real life quarrelling parties have an ego factor which prevents both sides from making the first move and the gap widens. And, in real life there is no white or black but, everything is grey.

I got a bit more confidence about being the first to forgive and ask for forgiveness. Obviously, need to tread steps carefully in real world.smiley36

Yeah we mostly had same thoughts . In many situations, your posts served as an eye opener for me. Especially when college schedule was hectic and I didn't have energy to interpret things properly. Wish you had come sooner. But koi nahi der aaye durust aayesmiley36.

I remember the first conversation and your introduction. I remember you asked me about my name but, I forgot to reply back then, afterwards, I let go of itsmiley37.

Lets give that a closure toosmiley36. Hi Arnima, I am Ishaan. Nice to meet you hope to see you in some other forum soon smiley31

Thank you for your kind words, dear friendsmiley31

I thought maybe people weren't much friendly here and just came to discuss the show and nothing more. Totally opposite from my previous forum from where I got some friends in real world toosmiley36 But then I saw there was an introduction thread where everyone had introduced themselves, and I was like ahhh okay that's whysmiley37

It's always awkward joining a forum so late where people have already made a community and some have already left. KA fandom is already quite small and there were just a handful people sticking around. And now that the show is over we won't even have much to discuss anymore. The few that are left would trickle away slowly. It's quite sad to think actually. But as long as the forum is here, I'm here. I have severe attachment issues. smiley37smiley37

I too have attachment issues that's why I am still here looking at notification bell for those numbers in red boxes smiley36 . I feel emotional whenever I come to this forum and realize its over smiley19. A void has been created which I am trying to fill by doing some other work to distract myself.

Thing is that for the most of the course in this show, things were not so straightforward and there were many perspectives to consider. Some agreed with the perspectives some disagreed some called those perspectives to be non-existent. After discussing them, there was not so much room left for any other friendly gossips/discussions.

I read a couple of old DTs, when show was in its peak time, friendly gossips were very much part of this forum and they were one community. Those gossips died out after acceptance of Vaanya as many left because of the "Raghuvanshi Family" declaration by Viaan and making Teji a villian.

I remember the discussion during the last phase of this show went for hours showing and convincing others to consider other perspectives too except the one which is shown on screen and how those other perspectives are valid too.

This show was the common link for all conversations and when link was weakened hence, the conversations and gossips were also reduced.
