All these comments by Ranbir kapoor is quiet double-standard because when Illeana worked with him, he with Priyanka chopra made fun of South industry when she tried to tell in the interview that she was given so much respect and love in South industry.

And all these people hyping up SRK as if he is some kind of model human being is laughable because there is SRK who keeps on licking and mooching his heroines infront of his wife and then there is Mahesh babu who doesn't even touch his heroines offscreen. 1 woman man like Mahesh babu > fake SRK.

Bollywood is globally recognized for its over-the-top action and mindless masala movies, unfortunately. South Indian films take it even further. Instead of aiming to triumph over Hollywood, especially considering the vast difference in budgets (with their even romcoms surpassing the budgets of major action films in India), they should prioritize compelling storytelling.

Mahesh is quite attractive to look at.

Everyone is definitely high and drunk. Is this the usual way they promote South Indian movies? It's all so exaggerated, from plastering superstar Ranbir Kapoor on every poster, which seemed pretty cringy, to this promotional event that looks like some kind of political jalsa.

Saal mein Ekadhi south movie all over india chal bhi jati..a lot of dubbed movies are also being watched by pan Indians but no bollywood movie has been able to impress south aufience in similar manner as yet.. be it salman, amir, shalukkha n neither will ranbir gain much from doing a south/dirextor movie.

Heck, nobody even cared for alia in that natu natu movie

I guess only south directors have been able to make name for themselves in the rest of the india. The actors be it from south or bollywood, dont benefit at all when they venture out of their comfort zone. They have all become floppy.

The kind of treatment ranbir is getting, a maheshbabu or prabhas ya phir vijay D would get the same if they are standing in front of bollywood audience.

I have funny feelings about this. Feeling sad as well as happy at the same time for how the bollywoodians are treated. Happy because unko sir pe nahi bithaya gaya and sad becuase they were not being treated like "royals" or "the chosen ones"... as a bollywood audience i am not used to seeing them be treated so normally...i dont know if anyone is getting what i am trying to say here

KTR is eloquent, that's why I said they should have got him instead. And it isn't a stretch for him to grace this occasion. He came to Ee Nagaraniki Em Ayindi trailer release, he was also there for Balgam's release event. He shares good relations with Tarun Bhaskar. I remember him praising him for Pellichupulu as well.
