What happened today?

I haven't watched the full epi but I saw the ending. Kriti went directly to black apron challenge. It was apparently a close call between her and Harry. Tomorrow is team service challenge to some "top fans". Both teams have similar comments from judges and fans so kind of hard to guess based on precap which will win. But given it's direct entry to black apron round, my guess is that team with Harry will lose (for the third time).

They are looking to eliminate Harry or Kriti this week.

Small challenge before the main one and Rukshar wins it to get an advantage. While everyone else has to swap with their table partner, she gets to keep her dish. Arre baba why waste our time? Just give her the trophy and let's go home. I find this very unfair. Typically in the past when it was an odd number and you did a swap, you just had 3 people move around. Here they very easily just let her keep her dish. Ainvayi kuch bhi.

I will say the swap was not as fun as before because everyone told each other what their dishes were and they are just trying to make those dishes. It's more fun when you have to make your own dish out of what the other person brought.

Nidhi really got on my nerves today because she was basically directing Aashiq on how to make her dish. Arre just tell him what you were making and let him go from there. Suraj looking confused at squid. Bechara has never made squid before. Similarly Nambi has never made brownies but she's still doing that. Kriti has no knowledge of whole millets.

Today Vikas was on a roll. He was pointing out the problems in everyone's dishes so frankly and directly. It was awesome!

Rukshar didn't get good comments even with the advantage. Thank you! They were fair to her dish. But I still don't get the favouritism for Nidhi. They had problems with the spice level and yet somehow they still are managing to praise the dish somehow.

Mini challenge was so boring. Could've just made the folks determine all the millets and chosen the winner. Also, to be fair enough, another chance should be given instead of just ousting the first time.

Rukhsar just...needs to leave. Too much of Kashmiri stuff. Kashmiri pulao & raita. 🤦‍♀️ Also, she should've been given the choice to swap rather than give her the free pass to keep her dish plan. So boring. After her swap, the other two contestants than are swapped with one another & that too based on results of the mini-challenge.

Nidhi instructing Ashiq kinda was irritating. After the swap, it became even more boring when the swapped contestants started disclosing their initial plans.

Suraj was doing desserts after desserts after desserts. Lol, his reaction after looking at the squid was hysterical. So good to see the monotony of his desserts be broken.

Kriti's pumpkin spiced dessert seemed boring. She's should go to some bake off challenge instead of MCI. Good that she went to black apron because she was clueless.

Nambi's dessert wasn't that bad & I liked the foxtail crisp. Though I'll agree that there was less of the brownie thus bigger proportion would've elevated it even further.

Suraj's food wasn't that bad & I liked the sorgham popcorns. Though I would've loved to add some cream or cheese to break the dryness like Ranvir said.

Aashiq-not his best dish. Presentation was too bland. The fig carrot sauce could've been better presented. It seemed like the taste was solid, so I guess good job by him. Vikas seemed dissatisfied with the dish's glorification so I would agree on Vikas' take more than the gyaani-baba Ranvir.

Nidhi's pahadi manni sounds interesting but was looking monotonous, IMO. It looked too simple & too brownish. Needed some color to break the monotony. Spices seemed to be major issue.

Harry-better presentation then Kriti but not his best. It seemed too basic, IMO.

Kriti-dish was presented horribly. Not her best.

Rukhsar- wasn't interested because it's just Kashmiri stuff.

Fanbots seemed biased, IMO. Lol, Suraj's expressions remind me of Suwarna's expressions thus he looks hysterical. LOL

OK, so it is possible that the same team will win for the third time, because we all know that Suraj, Nambi and Rukhsar can't go so soon.

I think Nidhi will start considering herself panauti seriously, and why just Nidhi, sare members hi khud ko panauti samajhne lagenge.

Guessing millets was tough! Normally people don’t use so many different kind of millets or they just get ready millet flour. So good job by Rukhsaar. But the reward she had was a bit too much for the semi finale.

I liked the idea of a swatch, but they should’ve given the contestants only 30 seconds to describe the dish or maybe none at all. Nidhi literally told Aashiq the whole recipe (and I’m sure many others did that too).

Rukhsaar should’ve been offered to swap with any contestant of her choice. Not swapping she had every chance of having the best dish. Might as well send her to the safe gallery after guessing the millets.

Nambi - Suraj - was annoyed seeing Suraj make a dessert again. And he chose a classic dessert served in most restaurants in India. Where’s the originality? Im glad Nambi nailed the dish, since she’s clearly not a dessert person. As for Suraj, he looked clueless. Im just glad he got a dish on the plate. He did receive a lot of help from the judges.

Nidhi - Aashiq - I was glad to see Aashiq make a dessert, but it wasn’t to be and Nidhi who never makes desserts had to make it. I was not impressed by making a tart - that’s like the easiest thing to do with flour - a no brainer. The colours looked boring, I’m glad he added the sautéed vegetables to break the monotony. I love the combination of carrot and ginger, I’m sure it was better with fig. The manni looked boring, the presentation kiddish.

Harry - Kriti - another dessert by Kriti. She so reminds me of Gurkirat. After the swap I knew this pairing was in danger. I think there was also lack in communication. I can understand Harry not being able to complete the tiramisu - something you usually need a recipe for. But why did Kriti struggle so much with a risotto? In her case it was more mental than anything else.

Rukhsaar - Kashmiri again. It’s great to stick to your roots, but you’ve got to step out of your comfort zone and show some creativity. Her plate looked quite boring to me. It looked like a normal pulao and chicken, what was masterchef level? Im glad she received some criticism.

Rukshar after getting advantage got overconfident and that led to her downfall. I an happy she didnt got good reviews at all, she even told Vikas when he commented on chicken that its not overcooked wtf man seriously he knows way better than u.
