They don't want to do that because of the ML conflict. They want to maintain that Abhira is both dad's daughter... And give both guys/both ships some space.

I really really wish Abhir is alive because he was Nikkeji! He was real Abhinav ki parvarish and would have worked well. Abhir would have been real hero and could have been connected most with audience. Par chodo...

Akshara in this generation is just a cameo without any depth or story.

The audience seems to have accepted Kartik's children from both marriages, so they should be open to Akshara's children too. It would have been wonderful if Abhir and Abhira were alive and stayed with Akshara until her last breath.

I understand the odds are low, but I'm hopeful that Abhir survived. If the ratings don't improve, they should consider bringing Abhir back.

Yeah so hoping they show him alive and reunite him with Abhira. Its all in the hands of makers and how they decide to execute it.
