Iāve been listening to more Shammi Kapoor songs. The lyrics and style of music music from those days just give a different feelš„°.
I am a big fan of Shammi Kapoor. None can recreate the magic or the style he had. But watching SKR and Imlie performing this song number : Akele Akele Kahan Jaa Rahe Ho. I just can't thank the makers much. They attempted something different from the original, which had its own magic. 
What Shammi did by his crazy dance style, SKR did it by his expressions. Shammi was flirting while Sai was helpless. 
The whole situation was different which made it more interesting to watch.
