It’s not an exception. Leads are leads and cameos are cameos. This show is on legacy child which comes from the female lead. There is no Abhinav legacy. It’s OG Akshara’s legacy- she has no connection to Abhinav, the only connection they have is through Akshara Jr. who is part of legacy.

And this is definitely the writers fault, they could have easily show AK gave birth to Abhira and then later has a daughter with Abhimanyu too (like the way Kartik has daughters with both Sirat and Naira). And they could kill Abhimanyu after both the daughters birth only But due to some offscreen issues! The entire onscreen plot is affected for both Gen3, 4

I did not know Hina's offscreen issue but they gave Hina a decent ending; her story was complete. And the story was not negative. But S3 had too much negativity till the end. So viewers might be sckeptic to watch. I dunno about gen 4 story as I am not watching. Next week trp will tell whether the show is progressing.

Most elderly are there for 2 Gens only but they managed to live a long life

Definitely it was writers' fault for creating this whole mishap. They could have shown a Sirat similar track in Gen showing two children from Abhi and Nav or 2-3 year leap post Abhinav death, showing reunion and a baby at the end. But no! writers must have thought lets show our off-screen drama through the show .

Now we cannot even make a banner in peace lmao.

That's pretty much the summary of the whole story. Yeh blame, leap & death Kya Kehlata Hai . Apart from one relationship not a single successful Rishta was shown

The whole Ak's reactions with Abhinav in their romance reminds me how Ak was portrayed post Abhinav's death with Abhi. I am talking about in terms of expressions wise. There was a subtle difference in terms of emtional portrayal; we could find her verbal confession of love for Abhinav during Kassauli arc and of not being in love with Abhi post Nav.
