I just remembered that during initial seasons of Indian Idol, a kashmiri was made winner, while he didn't deserve to be in top 5 as well. He was advertised as first Kashmiri participant.

Later judges also confessed that they were also not in favor of it. Still it happened. Just to mention, that Arijit Singh was also one of the participants during that season and was eliminated

Similar thing is happening here... since first week, we have big hoardings of Rukhsar everywhere in the city.

accha I remember Gurki saying that he is scared of chef Garima as she was very strict, "vo jab bhi meri table par aati hain toh mujhe lagta hai ki sab bas theek se hojae, kyunki vo bohot zyada technicality ke bases par judge karti hain" (something like that).

What I could understand is ki the clips were edited whenever Gurki was corrected on something by chef Garima, (may be too much brainstorming by me once again).

Kunal himself said once on FB that he isn't interested in doing unnecessary praising. I remember seeing him respond to someone on one of his videos that he can't fake it.

Did he say this in the context of MCI only?

which means that they actually fake praise some of the contestants?

I don't think Season 1 or 2 are online anywhere. Maybe Hotstar might have but I don't have access to Hotstar in Canada.

A lot of Garima's criticisms used to get edited out I feel. It would always feel like her comments were shorter than the rest except when she was raving about a dish.

Yes someone in comments once asked Kunal why he hasn't come back to MCI and he said he can't praise people without reason and he doesn't have time to commit to such long showings. Most of the responses to that were people speculating that it means that some contestants get fake praised.

I mean it is the third time with same teams, this has never happened in any of the seasons till now, at least 1-2 members toh different hote hi the. I don't know why they are doing this.

It's not coincidence. In such shows nothing is coincidence.

I bet the team was told that none of them would be evicted. Plus even if they did raise their voice, what would happen? Nothing. Ranveer would probably just get angry and tell them off.

But if this time they go for eliminations toh phir definitely someone will get eliminated, how someone will agree to get eliminated without any reason?

yes, even I like chef Garima but you know what

Even she messed sometimes, I mean do you remember that chanapoda wala thing, she was criticized so much for that.

yes, she made few blunders but considering ki it was her first time in front of camera uske comparison mei she was criticized a lot, this is the thing I did not like, now see chef Pooja, she often makes reels, she is so much active, but I don't know whether people are even criticizing her outside this forum or not, but unko toh bohot kiya tha.

This week ka abhi se kya keh sakti hoon? Maybe they'll finally win this time. Or maybe it'll just be a play for an advantage. Who knows.

Definitely either Kriti or Harry's turn to be out though. One of them is going.

I feel like even Pooja is being criticized outside IF a lot. She is probably the worst judge possible so far. She has nothing to say for savoury dishes. She just repeats what the other chefs say. She doesn't even know desserts well enough. Her comments are basically rinse and repeat every episode.

I believe that a lot of people on SM are saying similar things about her. I hope she isn't brought back again. I get that they want a female judge to appear "woke", but if you aren't finding the right female judge, then go back to 3 male judges. We want fair judges, not just a woman judge for the sake of it. Why they aren't finding the right female chef is beyond me. There are so many good female chefs out there, but I guess many chefs don't want to do judging for so long or don't have the patience for it.

accha, but she usually tastes the dish naa? so made to taste at last means? Actually I did not watch the episode. She did say that the cooking requires improvement. It looked staged/scripted to me, tbh.
