Situation in Ghum was different. After Sai's dad died, she tried to commit suicide and was saved by Virat. There were few villagers who were close to Sai and her father, who forced both Virat and Sai to get married. Here there are no such characters. So Yuvraj might do something to harm Abhira again, may be try to forcefully marry her. Which will compel Armaan to take some action. And I'm guessing that phuphaji might also be involved somehow, because Armaan is not the type to take such a big decision without consulting his family.
