I think thereis some misunderstanding. Imran Khan isn't working in any tvshows. At least not some b grade one.

He last directed a short film. That's all I know.

You could be right...imdb isn't always reliable...on their website under his profile, this show is mentioned and he is listed among the cast.

On Wikipedia, this series isn't mentioned, only - as last work - the 2018 short film he made.

He took a year off when his daughter was born. Then he was also talking about directing a movie. He even directed a short film for Dharma. Talks were very rampant about him signing a movie with Dharma as a director. Then rumors of trouble in his marriage started and then his divorce and reasons behind it took over in the media. After that I think he purposely kept a low profile till a couple of months ago when he started talking on instagram. He’s made some very heartfelt posts about his struggles with depression, body image issues, and even talked about wanting to cut himself in one post. He definitely seems to be in a better place now and hopefully he’ll fulfill his dream of directing soon.

I don’t believe that he stopped getting offers after his last flop. He himself stopped signing movies. Some for happy reasons (baby) and some for sad reasons (divorce and depression and so forth).

Kangana's BO record is not bad. It's all flops but female centric movies are generally all flops, especially since Kangana has 0 marketing sense. In comparison, it's not horrific.

Kangana made huge money to do this movie! Turns out working with a nepo does have a price
