Ugh. People like this need their backsides walloped. I find KJos movies silly too, but IFFI's version of art is not the only acceptable form of art.

I read the article and they are mad because KJO is taking the funding smaller movies desperately needed.

This is government-supported, so this is the one chance smaller filmmakers have for their product to catch the eyes of some official and screened somewhere. But KJO is taking all the fundraising opportunities by mostly screening his stuff, (and it's not just him - rest of Bollywood too. Like why is Madhuri giving a dance performance? at a serious movie event/screening?) This festival was meant for arthouse cinema.

What’s the issue with Karan ?
