Exactly

I won't say fans saare badhiya hain.

But it had gone better than what it used to be pre 2010, and due to SM anyone can anything by saying themselves to be Indian.

I never lile Yograj, one of the reasons why Yuvraj gets a lot of hate.

One of the reasons was also that

Earlier we weren't the best team, nor other opposition were weak like now (Aus before 2015 WC, SL was such a great team, Bangladesh too used to give competition, England was never like this)

So players were never at rest rather always ready to play the match as the last match.

On top of that as Dhoni says we should lose a match in league stages to know our shortcomings rather than getting it exposed at knockouts

I shivered when I read that Yograj Singh once splashed a bucket of cold water during peak winters on Yuvi to wake him up. After that the boy ran out crying and Yograj chased him on his bike, warning him not to stop. In his teens Yuvi would often sleep in his car and his father would hurl the first heavy object once he entered his house next morning. If I had a father who did 10% of this, I'd flee the country.

Yeah, losing in group stage is always better. It makes the team realize they need to work on their weaknesses.

Also, those blaming the pitch should compare how much runs David Warner saved vs. what iyer did in the same fielding position.

That Yograj is so annoying. Yuvi is actually a nice guy but his dad isnt.

Also I feel cricket lost charm, the charm it had in 2011 and 2015 is different. Currently players of some teams seem to be playing for money more than pride of representing your country. It wasnt like that years back.
