I do not deny that Ak fell for Abhinav nor do I deny that Ak do not have feelings for Abhimanyu after moving on. It would be ridiculous to show love for Ab considering how new writers portrayed Ab as an antagonist through Ak 😀.

But Ak's intensity of love is poorly portrayed in leap 2 story. In the beginning, previous creative showed her extent of love for Abhi and the execution was good. But leap 2 pe creatives failed to show her utmost love for Abhinav properly imo. Yes she said it herself that is true. But the execution fell short in my honest opinion. It may be due to flip floping Ak character showing hints of reunion and then proves wrong next second etc. Her POV wasn't shown properly which also contributed to the poor execution as well.

This is why I feel disconnected with Ak the most out of all characters and her true love concept.

All in all this is perspective difference. What I say might not be agreed.

Haha, i myself have said once that Abhi-Ra love story is 2 minutes Maggi story , lol but what I meant is it started with infatuation/attraction and then turned into love. The thing is a lot of abhimanyu/ Abhi- Akshu fans fail to understand that Akshara over a period of time fell in love with her husband Abhinav. In India, a lot of arranged marriages do work, where there is no love or any feelings at the time of marriage, but over a period of time if partner treats you well, then eventually you do fall in love and it's a very deep kind of love, not based on attraction. In that temple scene, when Abhimanyu asks i couldn't move on , how could you move on, she says something like I could move on only because of Abhinav, because abhinav mere saath thay. Because pyar ke saath ek aur cheez zaroori hai, and voh hai respect Jo abhinav ne mujhe di "

There is no denial that Abhi-akshu loved each other (infact abhimanyu still loved till death & his dialogue indicates even after), and if he had not divorced her, she would have loved him till death, but after Separation, she married again, fell in love with her second husband and loved him even after death and even now. In today's episode, when she sees that woman grieving for her husband, she remembers Abhinav and gets teary eyed and then she vows to protect her daughter and she says in her mind , she has lost everyone and then she remembers all the flashback of losing Neil, arohi , abhimanyu etc. She might consider Abhimanyu as a family member, fiance etc but she considers Abhinav as the man she loves and her husband.

The thing is people, even if they are deeply in love break up if it's not a healthy relationship or their partner leaves them & then they can & do move on.

Lol still it is good to hear different opinions .

The love started from first sight can lead to deep love too in a different way, for instance, initial story showed it from a soulmate persepctive where Ab felt the connection in a short span of time. I am not from India but I understand what you are trying to say.

My point was maker's poor execution part in portraying it. This is not the only serial where FL ended up with another character instead of ML and I have also rooted for 2nd characters because those makers were able to portray it well.

@bold: that is obvious isn't it? He is her late husband so ofc she would remember him as her partner and others as family members. That's why I mentioned all of them as beloved ones in her life.

But love is not permanent, i mean it can be but when relationships/marraiges don't work, they get remarried etc and people do fall in love again. According to the story narrative of this show, it is shown Abhimanyu got infatuated with Akshara when he saw her and Abhi-Ra fell in love with each other .

Once he divorces her and she leaves, she creates a new world for herself. She marries Abhinav for Abhir, even though she is not in love with him, but she cares & loves him as a family member and Abhir's father. It is when Abhimanyu returns, that she slowly sees how her current husband is so supportive, non judgemental, extremely respectful and his qualities makes her slowly fall in love with him and in that drunk state she does confess to him that she loves Abhinav, but then it was Abhimanyu there. She even tells Manjiri that aap nahi jaanti mai Abhinav ji se kitna pyar karti hu. There are lot of instances like where she thanks god to give her such a good husband and that she is so lucky, another instance telling Muskaan that her & abhinav's relationship is not compromise, they complete each other.

Also, the devastation that she feels on abhinav 's death is much more than what she felt for Arohi or abhimanyu 's death.

See, love is over-rated. People think attraction is love and it can become love for some, but a lot of people who feel nothing for each other in arranged marriage fall deeply into love with each other after few months/years if their partner is respectful and treats her well.

But Akshara remembering Abhinav was in episode. Same goes for Swarna remembering ManRa's love story.

These were separate because it was related to Gen 4 episode.

Actually this thread is not based on gen 3 but based on gen 4 episode where Akshara was remembering Abhinav since it is part of this week's episode in gen 4, can it be a seperate thread ?

Yes, in the wu I have read Akshara remembers Abhinav. The main post was related to Gen 4. However the thread eventually became a discussion on who Akshara loved more, and that is not the focus of Gen 4.

Opening a separate thread on this is not a problem, as long as the following discussion revolves around Gen 4.

Ah yes, the story execution was very poor. Hum sab Abhi-Ra & Akshnav fans were fighting ek dusre ke saath ki who will finally end up together and who will get Abhir, but makers are so sadist , lol

Who knew Abhinav and Abhimanyu will die in the same year & they will kill the child who was so loved by both the fandom.
