I actually tried correlating it with the actual MB, where though Bhishma Pitamah loved Pandavs, he sided with the Kauravas in the actual war. What DB is doing in the show, (threatening DGD, overglorifying Prem parmatma and all) is totally out of character, if Vanshaj is really a "Rishton Ki Mahabharat".

Exactly! Like gurl, atleast show some emotions like greed, arrogance and hunger for power ; being a parmatma in such a harsh business environment would do you no good.
