What I saw was him changing and treating her better with every track...till then I was okay with Angad except for the shirt fiasco which was disgusting af... The Seerat angle is what which spoiled Angad for me... Not saying he was a nice man before that... But he was definitely changing... I can't unsee that... But again as I said before his attempts just became a line drawn on water after Seerat incident, MU, gaslighting and all that. I had hated him then... but now I find him a bit bearable.. That's it. And as I said I rarely enjoy their scenes now.. Except a very few. 😁 as they both confuse me.. Sahiba being the better of the two evils.

Hmm jail track fully ruined him and the couple for me. His lack of empathy or self reflection for the abuse he put her through and her not holding him and his family accountable just ruined the couple fully. It fully translated to Stockholm syndrome.

Hence this doormat version who believes everything is her fault and she should serve him isn't surprising to me, just the loud bubbly attitude is (very grating)

He is educated abroad and it is anyways disgusting that he believed she shouldn't work outside when he had women working for him, he told he let her study because people won't put him down saying his wife isn't a graduate and then acted like he did her some huge favour during jail drama. That itself made him a very weak character but yeah, the liberties he took with Seerat cheapen him further because he allowed his bhabi and himself to do anything but all rules and trust tests were for his wife.

And how she's always showed up to support him when needed. His confusion or annoyance was about why she was acting bipolar by hurting him and leaving despite her actions or gestures which made him feel like she loved him.

and now he knows why- it was because she heard him confess to Seerat instead of her.

He is pissed about divorce paper thing- well she's given him a heartfelt apology and he also knows that his mother had pressured Sahiba and that much hostility is beyond tolerance. Thats why he brought Sahiba along to mumbai. He didn't want Manbeer to say crap to Sahiba and kick her out before the two of them could discuss their relationship and the way forward.

To me as audience it looks like this - as soon as Sahiba has confessed , instead of any happiness or tenderness, he's gone back to snapping at Sahiba for everything. Its like he was waiting to get Sahiba to get emotionally trapped in "pyaar" with him so that she can't leave him and walk away putting her self respect first. As soon as she has "given in" , his ego issue of how he can get Sahiba to surrender completely has been sorted. It seems as if he was playing a game to see how long and what all it would take for him to tame a woman like Sahiba. Now he's won the game.

I think angad likes "damsel in distress" Kinda women than independent, opinionated n bold women

All things aside I hate that Sachhi Sikhni dialogue as much as I hate Junoon e dil. And we will hear it a lot more this track smiley22. Spare us, I just want to see Angad cry because he lost his true love.

Lmaoo...I actually think you make a point here.smiley37 Yes, though he says he hates women like Seerat in the beginning of the show. He ends up throwing vaadas like paper pamphlets to Seerat who is the bechaari after she made a jackass out of him. Angad is sometimes an enigma to me. In fact the whole show and their characters are enigmas to me except for Seerat, Garry, and Jasleen smiley37. Nobody else makes sense. They all keep flipping every day. If character consistency had a score I would score them "shame-on-you-take-a-big-fat-zero"

I think his idea of a biwi is someone who takes care of him, is there for him in a non interfering way- just to encourage, comfort listen without much of an opinion and handles his elders health and checks on sabka Khana peena, dawai etc etc, takes care of kids eventually, plays a hostess, supports his image and that of his brand which is a family owned thing. And wife should handle home front but make him feel as if he is the provider and protector coz he likes to feel needed, respected too. I don't think he ever considered that his wife might be s person who has her own career , goals, ambitions. She can have interests but I think he expects that she will drop any of her own interests to accommodate him and his family.

Angad always get soft for women who act as bechari. Seerat is classic example. If u remember the first scene where angad got soft towards sahiba was when she was also in distress (home loan EMI). He helped her in paying installment and got first time feelings for her (seeing garry seerat taking pheras, he was thinking abt sahiba for first time)...

He is always portrayed as macho man types and like bechari women who need his help.. And he is shown fighting with independent, forward thinking sahiba earlier....
