Hope we chase now ! Good to have a clear mind as how many you need to score ! Middle order is also in good form so i feel chasing is a good option š
also shami n co can set the tone early on with their menacing line n length!
I also feel we should chase the score
Because AUS players can turn monster in chasing
Wishing either decision play out in our favour

2) How the bowler average is calculated?
average of a batsman is calculated by dividing his total runs by the total number of innings.
But, here is the key. If a batsman stays not out in an inning, that inning is not considered in the average calculation even though he came to crease and score few runs. So the equation becomes
Avg= total runs/ total dismissals
Example,
Consider following event of runs scored by a batsman
20, 35, 13, 12*, 16
( ' * ' being not out inning)
He played 5 innings but dismissed on 4 times. Hence, average=21.5
Kohli was not out 55*/ 103*/ 101* out 10 innings so 711 divided by 7 = 107.57
Rf your concern on Virat

Yeah you are right! Kangarooz can really jump high while chasing š¦ secondly i want our batters to have a clear mindset while batting regarding the runs required as compared to them having to guess what could be a safe score š

Kaori gave a brilliant explanation of batting average
A bowlers average means how much runs he concedes to take a single wicket...So it should be on the lower side...
So divide the total no of runs comceded by him by the total no of wickets taken, it will give you his average š i guess glen mcrath had one of the best bowling averages - maybe he is in top5 something not sure š
