Why do i feel chacha and chachi must have said Tara's dad did it. Or she over heard ppl saying they will kill deva for killing their family members as chachi spread the news that deva was the one who is responsible. In old days ppl used to take law in their hands. So it's quiet possible as there was lot of deaths that day.

This is quiet the possibility..maybe she was trying to protect Deva..manipulative Chacha Chachi might have said handing over Deva to the law will be safer or he will be in bigger trouble..
