Sincere request to the makers of Imlie Season 3

After watching today's episode, I have a sincere request to the makers to tone down on the harassment shown on Imlie by the Jeeja.

It's so triggering to see a family member being physically/ sexually abusive to Imlie. I was so uncomfortable throughout the scenes today. There were 3 scenes in all (plus one more in the precap) where Amrit grabbed her wrists and one with him touching her legs with his. Yuck yuck yuck 🤮🤮🤮

Why do they need to explicitly show these scenes that were so uncomfortable to watch. There's literally no warning (let me know if I've missed the warning) before showing these scenes. I was not able to even enjoy the other scenes in the show due to how detailed these harassment scenes are. I let these go in the previous episodes as I thought they would eventually tone it down but I don't think the makers are in the mood for it.

What was the point of having Sonali witness Amrit's philandering ways if such a strong woman isn't able to take a stand against him. I know the way it's written, if Imlie were to raise her voice, neither Sonali nor Agastya at this moment would stand by Imlie. She's trying to hold off his advances but it's getting really disgusting. She was stronger before she married Agastya. I hope Jugnu noticing the harassment goes and confides in Agastya.

I don't think my love for Sai can make me sit through this humiliating track. I will FF these scenes going forward but sadly not everyone watches online. The makers need to be very careful with showing such things.

This is the second show of Sai where such scenes are happening. Ek psycho kam tha that now this creep has come in our lives. Sai ke fans ko sukh hi nai hai yaar, har show main uski onscreen biwi ke saath harassment hoti hai and he can't even protect them. So annoying!!!

I totally agree. Though they are showing Imlie fight back the jeeja by the way Imlie repeatedly called Jeeja when Sonali was answering the phone this is not done. I hate that they show Amrit touching Imlie and nope they don't have any chemistry contrary of what some people might think, A girl who is being harassed is not cute neither is something I prefer to watch. I hate that Amrit is able to do this even with Sonali knowing everything about his lusty ways is too much. Why is Sonali even putting up with this creep.

I totally get what you are saying. I too forward these scenes. I couldn't take these scenes in Sai ka earlier show too where in they made the ex-husband do it as if it would somehow magically be correct. Today they showed Jugnu watch Imlie being uncomfortable with jeeja being around so I hoping Agastya would come to know of the harassment Imlie is facing.

I totally get what you are saying. I too forward these scenes. That drugging, pleat and massage scene triggered me so badly and I've still not been able to watch those episodes again...I'm not sure if Imlie ka writer is a man or a woman but men would in most cases never understand how triggering it is to watch such scenes. More than the wrist holding, I was creeped by the leg wala scene. It was so unnecessary so unnecessary.

See lmlie fighting back isn't helping really because he's still not backing out. He continues to harass her yaar. Precap also has the same scenes.

Who said what chemistry? There can never be chemistry between a harasser and the victim. Some twisted mind can only think these scenes are acceptable. Imlie clearly is a victim and these advances are not welcomed by her, period!!!

Harassment is never acceptable and never will be!!! If these tracks continue, main shayad FF karke bhi na dekhu.

Totally agree With the harassment point Ren.. It should stop though I watch all these on FF mode still its very triggering .. Being a woman its feels uneasy to see such things makers wants to put these things for drama sake but still its totally wrong to keep telecasting such scenes often..its good imlie fighting back as every women should but still makers needs to stop showing these things.

Yes as a woman it's triggering to watch. I believe most viewers are women and my heart goes out to everyone who felt uncomfortable watching this. Yeh 2 to 3 episodes se chal raha hai yaar. It's not that this is the first time. Bahut excessive ho gaya. There's a need to tone down even if Imlie is fighting back, it's not helping.

I was thinking of changing it too but have logged in from phone. Thode din baad karungi, may be we get more pictures in the coming days. Sai kafi meherbaan hai aaj kal lol.

Is harassment really necessary? I think this is one of the biggest things that puts me off watching Indian serials as women are always harassed for ‘entertainment’ purposes. I think the makers/writers etc should know that this is so not entertainment and we are living in a world where this kind of behaviour is not acceptable.

On top of that, they have made Imlie and Sonali two strong female characters weak against a lechy character in the same household!! Why give this unwatchable character the upper hand over both of them them with his lechy ways?

They may show Imlie being all brave and not giving in to the blackmailing. But that’s not the point.

You cannot show a girl being repeatedly harassed in her own house right under the nose of her Husband and family members. PLEASE TONE DOWN.

I hope they don’t drag this. Either Jugnu or Imlie herself disclose this to Agasthya. And dear makers DO NOT EVER WHITEWASH THIS LECH

I agree yaar this isn't entertainment, it's outright disgusting and demeaning to the viewers to constantly witness such elaborate harassment scenes. Gone are the 80s and 90s where such scenes were used to grab eyeballs. Now it's just unacceptable.

Seriously I can't believe they made Imlie who was so strong before marriage that she literally held that sickle to his neck so weak that he's continuously holding her wrist and harassing her. Sonali literally is only focusing on her business and ambitions and except for crying and not doing the KC fast breaking didn't do anything drastic to him. If the way she treats Agastya were any standard, aadha bhi isko jhada hota ya divorce ka dhamki dia hota, he may get back in line. Such scenes being done by a family member is another level of crap.

Oh don't tell me he will be whitewashed. He even tried to kill off those workers by burning down the factory. This man needs to be punished. Do you think knowing he tried to destroy her business (over destroying their family) will make Sonali leave him?

Imlie is trying her best to ward off his advances but he doesn't seem to get it in his brains. I think he's just not afraid of losing Sonali and the perks because even after the truth was out she didn't reprimand him the way he should have been.

I expected better from Sonali. Her focus maybe on the business and dethroning Agasthya. But what stops her from showing her husband his right place. What stops her from finding out about his so called NGO?

That lechy character holding Imlie’s hand multiple times itself wasn’t acceptable and what happened at the dining table was horrible beyond words.
