Deva’s eyes are magical and he has a valid reason to be detached and in pain..Badshah is his strength and comfort that keeps him grounded!

Yes he wants justice for Deva and Mr.Malik is just a mask..he just want her to say and feel sorry for the betrayal..I think he was expecting she would recognise him and kept giving hints but she thinks Deva died though she feels some connection with Mr.Malik..
