The writer is playing with her character. She was the one who make sure of her feeling before confessing to Viaan. She was the one who think of Earthcon people and didn't leave company. How can she play with Raghav's emotions.

The writer is showing her bechari every time and for everything. This is what I am telling to the people why showing bechari when the situation is not critical. It is like fake portrayal of strong rather than actual strong character.

Here she is doing self harm but also harming Raghav. Raghav was thinking she loved her dead husband and she is hiding such important detail. Not only that she is telling her random intern friend about how she love only Viaan making mockery of Raghav. Then meeting Viaan regularly without telling about her past.

Marriage is not a job where Katha can hide important things and justify that they both have a deal of handling children. She also know Raghav like Katha. Still playing with his emotion.

And what is this lame excuse. That Aarav become angry man. Raghav is treating him anyway. It will take time to heal some emotional damage. What is so hurry?

I haven't seen any of the recent episodes, so I might be wrong, but the Katha-Viaan and Dr-Katha dynamics cannot be equated by any means. KV had a history together, some of it was dark, and whatever they're both doing now is built upon that history. It's not as simple as "can't take no for an answer" as much as it is about him not having any answers and being satisfied with them. If she never forgave him and held the ONS thing against him, he would have understood. And if he didn't he'd be at fault. The discourse about him not being a good person would have made some sense.

Dr-K have no history. He's still exploring the emotional parts of Katha that Viaan has seen, loved, and accepted. He's testing the waters, trying to see how much tolerance does she have to what he's doing.

@Bold Agreed. This is indeed the main problem. People are so busy in Katha vs Viaan that he is often forgotten.

Her decisions are very much valid from her perspective but, in long term it is going to harm her. This is remarked by Viaan and the fans in general. Her dishonesty with Raghav is going to cause her problems in the near future.

However, That is the point of the character. This doesn't mean she is right and should be praised for. She is no longer the strong character which we used to know. And, because of that, she is making weak and coward decisions. For us audience, 8 months in the show crossed in a day so, it is very difficult for most of the audience to feel that time gap. But, one day I had a realization that 8 months is exactly how much time Katha took to fall in love with Viaan (Counting the number of days passed for us). And, how long it felt for us. In show, I calculated in one of my post cum project (which I abandoned), I tried to summarize what happened as each day passed in the show. I calculated only 63 days were passed from the beginning of the show till the day where Katha and Viaan were discussing about development of children's space in Lonavala Project. So, we can assume max to max another 63 days were passed till the day of Grewal house chaos. So, a total of 4 months were passed in the show. Comparing to that scale, 8 months is a lot of time. And if, out of those 8 months, 5 months were spend with Aarav ailing like he was shown, it is nothing short of harsh prison sentence.

From, the very beginning, it was shown Aarav was the reserve of happiness of Katha and next, Viaan was added to this list. After grewal house chaos, both were gone. This much tragedy can definitely change one's character entirely. And, that is exactly what is being shown now. This very much reminds me of Kareena's tranformation after she was rejected by Anshuman in Jab We Met. And, audiences were able to connect with them.

Writers/Directors are to be blamed for not showing this simple thing properly. In Jab We Met, we saw through the song "Aaoge Jab tum" for how long Geet kept her optimism and pleaded to Anshuman and eventually, how her outlook changed. But, here , nothing of that sort has been shown. In the very beginning, they showed that Katha's reason for rushing engagement was Aarav's tantrums which is plainly wrong. No matter how much Aarav is ailing it doesn't mean you will do whatever he says. Now, they are showing its Katha's fears and her exhaustion. But, at the same time, they are showing Katha already convinced Raghav's family before for this relationship (It is evident from her conversation with Guni Maa). So, this is very confused writing. What is this lame excuse to rush engagement. I am still unable to understand her reason to rush engagement and her marriage.

However, one thing which is positive about this whole situation is that writers are aware of this issue. It is evident from Viaan's dialogues. "Aapki tooti hui himmat Jaga raha hoon", "Main ye Raghav ke liye bhi kr raha hoon" .

@green, not agree. Compare to physical illness (cancer) which was further destroying Aarav with time (2 year), mental illness is opposite. With time it is improving. Even before meeting with Raghav, Aarav was recovered from shock.

Aarav was dying when rejected prioritizing her case in NGO. I can't believe Katha is treating marriage like a job where her only job is to handle Raghav's daughter. Raghav doesn't meant anything to her.

Viaan said the right, does she even like Raghav. I also don't like his character sketch. He is Sasta version of Eshan + Viaan. Check Adi character. There is not much scene but still you can find him more beautiful than all the male character in the show.

@red, I don't agree with his manipulative speech. His only aim is to get Katha and he did many time. First remind her of Dubai project to manipulate her to stay in Earthcon now this.
