He literally left Manju alone, he left Roohi alone, he left Birla Hospital alone.

Everything has an appointed caretaker that's all. Birlas really got barbaadi and only that. Little happiness and prosperity their adopted son Neil had brought to them that's all.

The only thing I liked about today's episode is Abhi's talk with Ak. She asked "Yeh Rishta...?" And he said simply that it doesn't matter. There you go, the answer of gen 3 for yeh rishta kya kehlata hai is that it doesn't matter what the relationship is, how you define it, how you name it.

The only thing that matters, the only thing that has ever mattered is that Abhi loves Ak and he will always be with her. He has adopted all three kids as his and he will try to do what's best for all three of them. He will remain in all three's lives and be a father to all three of them. That is his responsibility that he wants to fulfill.

In his last moments that is all that matters anymore. He also told his mother that their relationship will always remain. He will always be her son and she will always be his mother. This is something he has to do for himself, for Ak, and for his kids. But that doesn't mean he is giving up on any of his other relationships.

I know he is to die, I know he will never come back, I know he will not be able to father any of them, I know he will likely not even be remembered by Ak. But what it's worth, his love has always remained true and pure. He never needed any labels with anyone he loves, be it the kids, or Ak. So for Abhimanyu Birla, the whole question the show is based on is a moot point.

None of those people are alone though?
Manjiri has Mahima, Shefali, and Anand who will take care of her.
Ruhi has both families.

Birla hospital has Mahima, Anand, and Parth.

The only ones truly alone is Akshara and Abhir - Goenkas don’t want her around Ruhi and they see only Arohi’s death face when looking at Akshara. Goenkas said door is always open for Abhir, they didn’t stop Akshara and Abhir saying this is your house. Where are you going.

Manjiri already doesnt want her in Birla house plus now adding on Arohi’s death blame.

So Abhi chose his son and love who are alone and I think he is right to do so. Akshara is pregnant and Abhir is there also, who will watch who. Also, Abhi made it clear he needs her and Abhir, he won’t repeat the same mistake again. We all saw him as a dead zombie for 6 years during leap, so yeah he definitely needs them.

She was haunted by him for six years when she supposedly hated him. But the writers switched tracks and I don't really trust what they will show anymore. She is supposed to be Nav's widow acc to the precap. For Ak, labels have always mattered more than her own feelings. Even if she will always have Abhi in her heart, she will still never mention him, never even think about him if she can help it. I am not sure how anyone is supposed to forget someone like that in their life. But I am sure Ak is capable of doing so. She forgot her dearly departed husband in two months. There is nothing the girl can't do. Its almost like she is a sociopath pretending to be an empath.

Nah I understand that, I hate that he was put in the situation to make that decision to checkoff their redemption list which in his mind is embedded as prayaschit too. if it was to make him live a content life I'd understand the story but what's with making him a chapter in her life where it only began and ended with pain. Everyone has an appointed caretaker just as Madam got one for herself for the leap to exist, you may as well stay with the ones who need you more emotionally

See that’s the thing- Abhi always has to be there for people cause they need him.
So today he clarified it to Akshara, that she may not need him, but he needs her and loves her.

For him, he will always love Akshara in every chapter of her life- and we have seen that.
She can be married, widowed, loving someone else, carrying another man’s child- he will always love her.

Also, again Akshara and Abhir are truly alone. And Abhi will not repeat the same mistake ever again of leaving them alone, he did it once and saw the result- it broke him. He is a broken man holding onto his last chance of maybe getting his happy family :/.
