All-round batting effort from India has taken them to 357. Rohit missed out. But the rest of the artillery came to the party. Kohli and Gill missed their tons. So did Shreyas. But they scored heavily in most passages to ensure the 350 mark was breached. India added 93 runs in the last 10 overs as Jadeja scored some vital runs down the order. The slower ones were in fashion at the death and in case there is less dew, Indian bowlers would also try and do the same. Indian batters - Kohli and Gill - set the platform and looked good for daddy tons. But both were nipped out by Madushanka who ended with a fifer. The wicket is a batting beauty. The slower ones are gripping but I think under lights it should be fine. 357 is a hefty total to track down. Indian bowlers are in form. SL have their task cut-out in a game which is as good as do or die for them. We will be back in 25 minutes for the chase.

Shreyas Iyer - I think it was a pretty good wicket to bat, the ball was coming on and there was some nice bounce. I could settle for a while and then play my shots. It was magnificent to watch (on the partnership between Gill and Kohli), the way they took the singles, twos and the boundaries, they laid the platform for us. We were told that the odd ball was stopping and holding a bit, so it was a good partnership that they had and it helped us later on.
