Probably it’s just me, but I never found them to be in love to call their marriage a love marriage. It was more of convenience from Ash side. I found them a bit more close before marriage. They never seemed an in love couple. I don’t think Ash ever loved him. Likely the same from his side. They likely care, respect and love each other as partner but no in love.

Wow she just turned 50? And this is how he wishes her?

I am not big on wishinng your spouses on social media (like arent you seeing them at home??) but if you are going to do it, do it well. Do it better than a dollar bill birthday card..especially for such a milestone birthday!!

Honestly, not wishing would have been better.

It was an arranged marriage. Did they even say otherwise?

Even I always felt they were not actually in love ever in their marriage. Ash settled for a big name and household.

I am just going off on another tangent but I have always wondered how Bacchan Sr copes with the fact that Abhishek doesnt have a son? Considering he is very patriarchal and defintely marrying Shewta off so young while providing Abhishek as much support as possible to have a career is testament to that. Their whole charade with getting Ash married off to a tree proves they are deeply superstitious too.

Aradhya, I am sure, is much loved and adored but if we take into account their thought process they may be secretly disappointed that Abhi Ash do not have a son to carry forward the lineage. Thoughts?

Ok, I really hope this isn’t true. Preferring son over daughter is a horrible disease that still prevails in India.

It probably is true, as it stands the Bachchan name is officially over with no one to take it forward. I’m sure that irks Jaya and Amitabh, they do seem like those types

Does Amitabh brother have grandsons? That would irke him more.

i bet differences between bachchans came after Aish had a daughter and didnt have anymore kids.

Because before that, Amitabh was even giving her delivery updates from labor room.
