If Aditi was able to show her pain and guilt emotion as u wanted, then, her dialogue would have been ok?
Yes, I could have given her benefit of doubt that she is truly lost like Viaan said during hospital scene "app bikhar jaengi", her heart messed up her thought process and blabbering nonsense. But she is completely fine while pronouncing those venom.

I could understand whatever she is doing is her fear but seriously I don't see any pain in her
This is really a difficult track for any actors where they need to show longing for lover, fake happiness for present but failed to see that mixed emotion in any scene. I don't want to question actors caliber, she is definitely one of the best actrees but I don't understand, if it is directors fault or actors.
Let's talk about today's last scene, we have seen director were telling this is guilt talk, I don't even wanna talk about dialogue but what was the emotion she conveyed? Was it guilt emotion at all, I saw irritation.
Don't want to compare but Jennifer was in huge personal problem during Kumuds marriage track but she did the best.
No offense.
I think the problem is the lack of katha's pov. After that first or second episode post-leap when she comes to know that Viaan was about to be released, she hasn't been given any significant scene where she misses Viaan on her own and not after being triggered by some memory. The entire quota of angst has been put on Viaan's shoulder. Also, Katha is shown to be genuinely trying to move on. She wasn't forced, wasn't coerced or blackmailed. It was her decision to marry and so she's trying to be as happy and content as possible. Trying to live in the present as she's said many times. She's not actively pining after Viaan like he is, nor wishing for them to be together. So it kinda makes sense that her grief is shown differently than Viaan's.
Another thing, Katha's love was always tempered by practicality and rationality. Like she's said many times before that they were not teenagers and their love also couldn't be like that. Viaan was always openly passionate. His love language was about grand gestures, shouting his love from rooftops, proclaiming it on radio, writing poetry about her, taking her ring out of the pipe, doing everything he can for her etc. Katha was never like that. Like I said, her love was steeped in practicality and rationality. She was a single mother and that responsible behaviour never left her. Always a closed book.
But, somehow I have a feeling that a huge emotional breakdown of katha is imminent. I think they're building up to it. Maybe a major confrontation, where we'll finally see her breaking down and confessing her turmoil. I really hope they give us an epic showdown between them and not waste an opportunity for it.

Yes, she is practical but even a practical person is not much practical when person is in room. Katha is unrealistically practical, craving for love from lover is practical thing too 🙈
Where is that Katha who couldn't go home without seeing Viaan is alright or not. It was practical yet caring.
Where is that Katha who kept thinking what if he gets to know about Seema and gets hurt!!
Where is that Katha who changed video for Viaan so that he doesn't get hurt?
Where is that Katha who was jealous of Vanya? A lot more.
Those were mature romantic vibe, we expected mature romance from them not teenager. Yes, Viaan was more expressive in words but katha gave every reason to expect from her.
We should not hide behind practical Katha, care/longing has nothing to do with practical approach.
Besharam bacchi

Can't agree more re !! Bcoz of all these instances that u mentioned it's so obvious for us, viewers to expect from her to keep Viaan as a priority just like Aarav. The amount of care the writers showed that Katha had for Viaan before leap is not found anywhere. This was the same Katha who arranged for fireworks to cheer him up so that he doesn't get lost in darkness during the Seema Dutta case. The way she never left him during that testing times was so heartwarming. Now at present this version of Katha can't be recognized at all. The dilogues/monologues that she is uttering nowadays are pure shit!!Originally posted by: _OrChiD_

Ok, I have no problem that you didn't feel Aditi's acting was not that emotional or breaking. The breakdown you are anticipating will have a much stronger impact later after a proper buildup.
I personally, felt the emotions expressed by Aditi was apt for the kind character Katha is. She was the same Katha who didn't cry in front of her child when he was getting treated with cancer and worked like a machine. And, she didn't let her emotions get to her face even in workplace. She herself confessed to Viaan that she didn't even cry in alone (suppressed her tears). Hiding emotions is part of her character trait. If I saw Katha crying here, that would have felt more out of character.
Also, the last conversation wasn't a guilt talk even though that BTS implied that. It was just Katha's POV and justification of her steps. So, finding element of guilt in this sequence was futile.
Does she feel guilty or not, it is uncertain till now. If she feels guilty, how much guilt ridden she is, it is not known. Most likely she feels guilty that's why she is unable to face him.

I forgot to mention Sabita case. She should have been disgusted with him, instead she was crying/got angry/frustrated. She didn't even wanted to believe with facts, searched every possible thing to make him innocent.
Nowadays seems like some ghost is talking inside her 😂

@red, Since director even wrong, then Katha fans should direct Katha from now on as only they understand her pov. 🤷
Whole fandom should start a petition for this as whole fandom unable to understand her except few.
