Neil is possessive when it comes to Yuvika. That frustrated kick that he gave to that bench when YUVIKA went away without listening to him( after she promised Vidur to not involve Neil) is still alive in my mind. The way he behaved with HM was hilarious. "Apko mujhse toh kuch kaam hoga nahin."He could see that Haseena was at a place in Yuvika's mission where he was supposed to be. He was not liking it at all. So may be we will get that reaction of shock.

Oh Neil is EXTREMELY Possessive about Yuvika

I still remember how he used to manipulate her in telling HIM everything about her day to day life & work, he prefers to stay updated about everything that's happening in her life

No need to mention how he went bonkers when Yuvika hugged and about to kiss Kartik

Neil is very possessive about Yuvika and protective too in a healthy manner. Yuvika needed exactly Neil in her life. He handles everything about her quite intimately I love that about him

Even Yuvika also. That entire Vidur uncle fiasco, yes Yuvika was impulsive, she did make a blunder. Yes,she disappointed Neil. But if we think from her point that girl just got to know that her father was murdered at a place where he was supposed be the safest probably by someone from his inner circle. Obviously she was doubting everyone. She even said that she doesn't trust anyone apart from Neil. Also Vidur's silence didn't help either. Yet the moment Neil said that Vidur is innocent,she didn't need any other proof. She subconsciously started believing that and began to think from Vidur's side.

Neil's words were rude, I can't even imagine my bestfriend telling me that I used her because I apparently took her help. It must have been painful for her. But she understood his pain, his condition. She let him vent out his frustration on her without interrupting him. He was the only person she thought of when she was with her father unconscious. In all her flashbacks during that time it was never about how he behaved with her but how much pain he is in! So intense and pure were her emotions for him that even Neil understood that he is special to her & he is liking it a lot.

NeiVika stayed apart few years but the fact is they knows each other from beforehand.

That why Rishikesh flashback is important. When are we going to get that? Neil's character is written like that. He is not going to blindly believe Vidur bcz he is his father. He doesn't worship anybody. He is not in awe of anyone. He sees people as human being. He accepts & loves people as the way they are with all their flaws which is much more healthier than Yuvika keeping Prem on a pedestal.
