There are many similarities between Wuuhering Heights with Chand jalne laga which I agree with Autumn09. Deva being the stable boy, the lie the revenge and the palace itself Deva using Raunaq to snatch it. I am always fond of regency romance. But I hope they will not make a tragic end of this story like Wuthering Heights.

Just shared my inner feelingđŸ˜¶đŸ˜¶

Both died actually. They nether get married nor get united when they were alive

In the end ppl used to see their ghosts moving near WutherIng Heights. It basically was a lovestory between a Viscount 's daughter and a stable boy where the girl admitted that she loves him but cannot marry him because he belonged to low status. The boy got angry with that and left the palace and returned only to snatch it. In the meanwhile both marries other partner. The woman died while giving birth of her and her husband "s child. After someway the man died and became ghosts. I found similarity regarding Deva's obsession to snatch the Haveli and his past origin of being there stable boy.

In the book? Ya it’s pretty confusing if you are reading from wiki. Its a very interesting and dark story about love and vengeance. Its almost impossible to tell whole story here. But basically a man loves a woman who is superior to him in social class. Woman even though loves him chose another man. And then the story is all about how he takes vengeance for that. Its tragic.

Ngl, the Wuthering Heights vibes attracted me to the show even though I hate the book. smiley36

Catherine Earnshaw was the worst. Claiming to love Heathcliff and yet marrying another man just for his money. And then she had the audacity to become all dramatic and make herself sick when he left the place. Like girl, you chose your bed, now lie in it.

In CJL, I'm liking Tara a lot more. The Sehgals may not be as wealthy as in the past, but they have enough to survive comfortably. Moreover, even though she may be in need of money, she still has her own morals and values that she won't compromise with.

Wuthering Heights is dark while Itv doesn’t go for so intense hatred and darkness.I agree Tara indeed had Moral and Ethics. Dev is vengeful but also had a soft heart He is not cold as Heathclife.
