Back then Shivangi and Mohsin were able to pull the serial because there was a proper story. Back then I think it was the only show that DKP had (correct me if I am wrong). Also RS wanted to show Hina that the show would be fine irrespective of her presence in the show. Hence, he put his best efforts for the show. That is the result of season 2. Plus S2 also got low TRP after running for many years because there was no story to tell in the end. It was getting dull. Then they made S3 instead of finishing it off. They should have stopped it at that time.

They think recreating the same S1 would bring high TRP. There is a high chance it will not work. Best example is UD, S2 was not good so they introduced S3 with new generation. S1 of UD was good because the concept was new and the chemistry between the leads were good. So now they are recreating the S1 in S3 storyline but they haven't achieved the expected TRPs. It will be a matter of time before it goes off-air too. Thats why it is risky.

For Gen 2 the base and transition were solid. by the time they ended the old AK, people accepted the Naira char and even enough importance to the Naksh. Even in Gen2 when they showed Karthik marrying another girl not go well, but they pulled out. after that story got boring and even that went down.

suddenly they started gen 3, but just because of leads went well. that they took advantage of it and ruined it totally. when the marriage track started I thought, they could have given more time to establish the love story. but anyway will miss HC and PR. till now people used to watch some point in time the will unit. after understanding no possibility trp damal. now it came to position 8. The bakwas they are showing at the end of gen 3, no wonder it go out of 10 next week.
