Functional. That’s a good word, and I agree. They do seem the most functional. He does his thing and she does her thing. He’s conservative and she’s liberal. He supports the government and she presents herself as critical of the government. They seem to have a balance that works well for them.

Having said all of that, if some rumors or suggestions are true then Akshay has gone beyond just being a serial cheater. It’s hard to look at a man like that and not question his character and how much complicity his wife has, which in turn makes both of them problematic.

Unless they changed the definition and now it means the opposite they certainly cannot be called wholesome just cz they're functional. But high marks to them for being functional and successful

And what could be worse than serial cheating? Sexual harassment?

The biggest womanisers are Akki, Devgan & HR believe it or not, lol. ALLEGEDLY. And am sure they’ve found their own balance & seem to love their children a lot & seem entirely supportive of them too. It seems like a functional, relatively stable marriage. Am sure Twinkle has her own affairs, from time to time.

I wouldn’t judge BW marriages, they all operate in their own realm which is a world of its own.

As someone who’s never bought the PR narrative that HR is some saint I can totally believe it.

As for the rest … kind of sad and disturbing actually. If all these couples have accepted being in open marriages then that’s different, and to each their own. But a lot of times it sounds like some are just settling for cheating partners. Particularly women.

No he isn’t but apparently he’s a nicer BW man than a lot of them. Knows how to treat women too which is a massive rarity as we all know, in BW.

A lot of them probably do! BW marriages come with a lot of money + status so most of them do settle. But also settle into these open marriages. As I said- Their world is just bizarre & totally different. It’s why I kind of admire Susanne Roshan from walking away from a HR. It actually is completely unthinkable for a star wife to do that.

To me, Sid M and Kiara's marriage is a marriage of convenience. Sid isn't straight, and for Kiara, marrying someone within the film industry ensures her continued presence in Bollywood. Actresses who marry outside the film world see their Bollywood careers decline or they retire immediately after marriage. This situation seems like a win-win for both of them. I won't be surprised if Kjo is the mastermind behind it all.

Is Sid completely gay? I dont think so. He was gay for pay for Kjo, we all know that but I dont think he is gay. Might be bi. Kiara has no business marrying a closeted gay guy just to remain relevant when she is not doing so bad herself. That is too big a gamble to take in life.
