Imlie and Agasthya are in their nuptial bedroom, they have their share of nok jhok , she is offered the floor bed while he decides to occupy the king sized bed.
Sonali refuses to allow the maid gulabo, to take kesar Badaam doodh to the newly weds , out of jealousy, but later Gulabo secretly makes Imlie consume the same .
At night Imlie is very concerned for Ashu and she finds an opportune moment to escape from the house n run off to meet Ashu.

Annapurna wants to meet Imlie’s family , Sonli manipulates her n they all reach Agasthya’s bedroom , he manages to persuade Annapurna that Imlie was sleeping n would get flustered on seeing them in her room . He would pass her message when she woke up. He does not reveal Imlie was missing from the room.

Imlie meets Ashu who is lying on the hospital bed and spends emotional moments with her . She explains to maamu her majboori to get married to a guy, just to provide money for Ashu’s treatment . She hides about her marriage from Ashu. Maami and Bulbul over hear conversation partly and are very keen to meet Imlie’s wealthy husband.

Imlie returns back to Choudhary mansion and she sneaks in through the wrong way and accidentally lands up into the store room n gets locked inside , she accidentally sets off the alarm . Agasthya rushes to check n he opens the door of store room n rescues Imlie . They have accidental close moments and this is witnessed by the entire family , who presume they were romancing secretly . After much leg pulling n fun moments they all retire for the night.

In seclusion of their bedroom AgaLie have massive fight over her nightly escapades and he warns her to toe the line as long as she is his wife .

Next day, Imli introduces Agasthya to her family members , Agasthya is appalled to see their shanty living quarters and their poor social standing n their poverty stricken livelihood. They both manage to get them transformed into decently rich looking persons and present them to the Choudhary family at a dinner invitation .

Annapurna is impressed by their clothes n jewellery , but their mannerisms and their talks give out their real standards . Imlie and Agasthya successfully manage to hoodwink Annapurna n the rest of the Choudhary family members , Annapurna is impressed and her keen eyes fail to realise they were being hood winked .

It’s time for evening Aarti, Annapurna notices Imlie was not wearing MS and sindoor , she scolds her for missing out the most important adornment of a married woman , Imlie n Agasthya make excuses about their court marriage . Sonali questions their marriage . Annapurna asks Agasthya to perform the rituals right now .
Imlie n Agasthya have awkward and emotional moments as they go through the rituals of putting sindoor n MS. at dinning table Imlie and Agasthay manage to cover up the follies by mama ji, Maami and bulbul and Annapurna guesses nothing about the truth .

later at night Maami and bulbul are so bedazzled by the grandeur of Imlie’s sasuraal they make call to Imlie talking about fake illness of maamu , Imlie comes running to her shanty house only for discover she was being fooled . Maami and bulbul join hands , torture Imlie n steal all the money in her purse which she acquired for Ashu’s treatment .

Agasthya asks her to come for peheli rasoi ritual. Imlie demands more money from Agasthya for all the drama she has to perform.

After receiving the money she goes off to pay hospital dues for Ashu. Annapurna fumes as Imlie does not turn up for peheli rasoi ritual … serving breakfast to the family , she decides to let bahu perform the ritual at lunch time but still Bahu is not seen in the house. Sonli does not miss any chance to taunt Agasthya , his biwi and his shaadi.
soon Imlie limps into the house , she is hurting after suffering tortures at the hands of wicked Maami n bulbul.

Annapurna advises her to cook their fav dish, Imlie shows her talent by preparing the tastiest Banarasi makkhan Malayi . Annapurana is very impressed n forgives Imlie for all her follies , Agasthya n entire family loves her preparation.
Annapurna offers her wads of cash as nek of peheli rasoi, but she accepts a single note for nek . Later Agasthya notices Imlie applying first aid to herself on her wounds . Agasthay gets emotional seeing her wounds, he tries to help her and they have nok jhok while she refuses his help . They have accidental close moments and romantic BG song plays .
