First episode was interesting.
So what I could understand is (not shown completely yet, gathering from whatever they said) that Hiten's character and Gauri's character were in love while Hiten visited Kashmir (Gauri is a Kashmiri), Gauri revolted against her family and went with him, but he had to leave for some reason. He never returned but had got Gauri pregnant with Pashmina by then. So Gauri was left to fend for herself and daughter, she gets help of an old man who took them in and on his death transferred his house boat to them. Now this houseboat both their home and only source of income. Gauri loves Pashmina but fears that another non Kashmiri will spoil Pashmina's life like Hiten(Avinash) did to her, so keeps her away from outsiders.
Pashmina thinks about love and hopes her dream man is a Kashmiri.
Hero Raghav is from Kashmiri family who had to leave their house (mansion) for some reason years ago(reason not sure but I think they are hinting at militancy as his Dadi says ab hum Kashmiriyon k pass in rasmo k Siwa bacha kya hai), his father is drunkard and Raghav feels his father never really cared for him. He is a ruthless businessman who doesn't believe in love, he and his family was supported by Hiten's character Avinash, Avinash' daughter is Raghav's best friend and they are getting engaged, though he is clarified that he doesn't love her. Raghav is greatly indebted to Avinash and wants to make him happy. Now he is going to Kashmir for a business deal and Avinash fears his dark past will resurface, while Gauri wants that under no circumstance shall Pashmina meet her dad.
Premise is interesting and the beauty of Kashmir is mesmerizing, let's see how they proceed.
