Well AkshNav could have also been Abhinav+AkshaRa. Since it was already in use, AkshNav, NavRa etc were used. Yeh Rishta was written off for a long time by many. When Akshara sr's story ended and gen leap was introduced, people said show won't last for long. But look what happened. As long as they have a good story and relatable characters, it will go on.
