That was before the Riya-got-dengue track which messed with what they were intending to show.

The writers probably had something different in mind originally- possibly with time stopping (Dhruv's watch and his family's clock stopped at the same time that D-T did that original letter writing ritual) and perhaps even the idea of parallel universes.

Funny thing is that D got wiped out of existence, and they showed dengue-Tara as going to the 21st to reunite Ravi with Susheela as the reason for her (Tara's) prolonged absence
