I don't think that Kajol is "in awe of SRK"...absolutely not...fans may be "in awe"... Kajol does love him which includes to not be "in awe"...it's more a level of understanding and - in a certain way - of applauding what he is doing, how he is doing it...in her heart.

Strangely, it is somehow well potrayed in Jawan...this level of respect and understanding between SRK and women...

No, dear, I vehemently disagree...that may all be a nice 'wishful thinking' but Gauri is the better partner to the person ShahRukh is...oh yes!

Kajol and ShahRukh may be soulmates but not destined to be a married couple...love is important and valuable in so many different formes...and for Kajol and ShahRukh - in this lifetime - it's like one of those friendships that are extremely rare between a man and a woman...they had been destined for exactly this relationship - otherwise they would have made other choices...ShahRukh would not have lost his papa this early...would not get injured heavily to focus on something else than sports...would not have encountered this girl who connected with him (and his vulnerability)...would not have gone to Barry John's theatre-group to meet her...would not persued something his father failed in...

Wow...just thinking about the chain of everthing that happened...

Personally, I dont think there is any such animosity between Kajol and SRK or KJo and SRK.

KJo and SRK - Aah the big debate of who benefitted who more. Do we even need that ? A successful collaboration at that level of grandeur won’t have happened if it were not for each of the parties involved. Why just KJo or SRK, I would say without the same music directors, singers, cinematographers, heck editors, KKHH or K3G won’t be what it is today. Just think of the scene where little Anjali plays rapid fire and Rahul mentions Sharma, and the background music changes and so does his expressions. You change anything from that, like the music, the camera angle, the slowness/highlights of the action (motion change), Farida ji, Sana or SRK or bring a SLB, and see how fast that ruins the scene. Yeah, so I guess it’s the whole team that contributes to the success. And I am a crazy crazy SRK fan, but I honestly truly LOVEEEE KJo. I see a very humanly emotional person when I think of him, someone who openly talks about therapies long back when no one was vocal about it, someone who always acknowledges his emotional and behavior issues openly without feeling hush-hush about it. Someone whose every word is judged brutally in today’s world but he still speaks about all these so openly, I honestly love that. He was one of the limited very limited personnas who could make a Dostana on homosexuality so many years back. He was one of the pioneers to set the narrative that men can cry, men can be weak, effeminate men are as normal as others, he was always vocal about toxic masculanity. SRK and KJo’s friendships go above and beyond some social media likes IMO. The fact that Gauri is closer to KJo more than SRK is, speaks a volume and I find it VERY sweet and almost cinematic. Whatever their behind-the-door story is, I am sure when SRK needs him, KJo would drop things in a heartbeat and be there for him. In terms of benefits, more than monetary benefit, I would talk about emotional benefits, and I think there SRK served KJo more than KJo did to SRK. From KJo’s interviews, he seems to be a guy who was always really vulnerable and someone who needed a support to lift him up to meet his ultimate potential, someone who he could trust completely. May be SRK did that to him. SRK might have been the enabler for Kjo to find the confidence in his art that he’s found today. And I love that for both.

Dont want to ponder upon Kajol and SRK. I am happy in my bubble that they are having a secret friendship-affair somewhere in the world they meet every 3 months to laugh out and relive their memories. Their situations have been SO awkward since Ajay related stuffs, that I dont want to…… It’s alright, I will see them in 2025 October when DDLJ turns 30.

My entire childhood is stuck with DDLJ with SRK Kajol and KJo as AD, KKHH had MAJOR effect on my pre teen days I remember going to the saloons and showing them Kajol’s pic and asking them to cut my hair that way or give me a wig like that if my boy-cut hair cant be turned into an Anjali-like cut overnight and they called my dad for so much demands coming from a 9 yr old girl . K3G was loveeeee. MNIK established my values in a firmer way coming from the man I almost worshipped i.e. SRK, that it’s just 2 types of people on earth, good and bad, that’s it. I am sure in Aryan’s or Nysa’s marriage, we’d get to see these 3 folks dancing their hearts out like we saw for many folks in Sonam’s wedding.

Sorry for the rant, but I love all 3 of them individually and I believe they love each other in their hearts. And I cannot ignore that as it feeds my nostalgia.

I read the whole thread interesting discussions but i guess too much assuming being done & people has started to judge based on the situations and some discuss as if SRKajol are their neighbours. Its not even an issue they both have separate lives she might missed it because of many reasons and even if SRK has something on he might have missed it too. Friendships we do not need to hang everyday to prove a friendship. Even if we did not meet for years we still remember that one friend we spend amazing time with. Personal lives ups & downs takes most of our precious moments, in life one tend to forget that in hustle bustle of lives friendship relationship does take a backseat

As for KJO he needs to thank SRKajol for it he is what he is whether his film work or not but his achievement is due to KKHH and there was turning back for him directly SRKajol did make him not the other way round. That film was ordinary what made it extraordinary was the legendary sizzling chemistry of SRKajol

Ajay his own set of friends and Kajol has her own friends and both are mature adults they do know how to respect. Furthermore SRK Kajol Ajay Salman Akshay Aamir Juhi Madhuri Preity Rani to name a few they are in film business and everyone are competitors in that industry. We are talking abt survival here and when films releases competition does happen and if the competition is b/w husband & best friend its obvious a wife will choose her husband over best friend & best friend support & respect her decision

They have their personal lives & we do not know what is happening in their personal lives & we definitely can't assume nor judge
