I meant more like say kareena in jab we met, srk in darr, dp in cocktail, salman in Bajrangi bhaijaan etcetc... One role that makes people sit up and take notice of you... I think that one role is missing for bilal... He is coasting along.. ... If the show is a hit, then good, if not then no one can blame him bec he did his job

That one role where you force the audience to just look at you and remember only you, that is missing... His trajectory reminds me of Shahids (before Kabir Singh).. Where you are doing good but not extraordinary... And many times you fade in the background... You are just there and that's about it...

Movies are different from dramas. Movie actors can move on from a career defining role but in dramas the career defining roles becomes the stereotype esp in pak dramas. If one actor is good in one particular role then no matter what type of roles he does people only want to see him in the role he got famous for. All the career defining roles of pak actors ended up being their stereotypes. Feroze had that with khani, wahaj with tb, imran with rrk and Ahmed with parizad. Their career got stagnant from that point. That's not there for movie actors. People are more acceptable when movie actors try different roles but that also happened recently only. Srk was clueless what to do when he got too old to play the romantic hero. He tried different things, failed and then came back with two back to back action roles.

Even without any massive hits with a career defining role bilal managed to be an A list actor and there is very less debate on his acting skills. That's a good thing for a pak drama actor as no matter in which type of role he comes in if the story is good people will like him.

When bilal's name is associated with a drama then people have this general mindset that the drama will have something different to it and he will act well no matter how it does on the rating front. That's only of the main disappointment people have with IM. Since it had bilal most people didn't expect it to have cliche storyline and his character to be such a basic love struck stalker.

I understand that Mawra may not like Urwa going back to Farhan but that is not her call to make. She should be happy for her sister and her pregnancy.
