~ Celebrating 13 Years Of PKYEK ~

Hey PKYEKians, it's 18th October again! The day when our dashing vampire Abhay made his entry for the first time on our TV screens and became everyone's crush.

Those were the golden days of our childhood, teenage and college when almost every girl dreamt of having him as their boyfriend at some point of time.

Our Piya is also not less than anyone, the cute, bubbly and chirpy college going girl full of positivity! ☀️

Pyaar Kii Ye Ek Kahaani is an Indian television series that follows the story of Abhay, a 200 year old vampire who falls in love with a human Piya.

Now coming to the reasons why Pkyek was the best supernatural show to air on Indian television:

• The first promo was impressive

• Misha and pia starting scene

They both slapped each other and became friends

• Dil Ibadat as the theme music

• Misha Dobriyal

• The cast had a mix of good and *haha hehe huhu* actors, so you can both appreciate and roast it

• There was actually an emphasis on friendship and family bonds in the show

• Paas mat aana, aag hoon main, jal jaogi, dialoguebaazi was on point

• Piyashree or Piyali, what is the heroine's name, iss raaz se parda kabhi nahi utha

• Chemistry between the leads was fairly nice

• Sid was pretty entertaining

• Vampire powers kabhi waah waah, kabhi abba dabba jabba

• Every Mount College member had atleast 2-3 romantic relationships and one hawa hawai wala, so audience was never sure who to ship with whom

• The plot of S2 was like a mosquito coil, but yet better than majority of today's plots

• Some of the cast is still known just for the show, the recall value for whatever reason is there

• This one lasted till the very last day of Star One, a channel that redefined most of our childhoods
