Watched the first episode completely but unfortunately turned off the TV at the middle of the second episode.

Shibra arguing with the Father in law of the friend. Shahmeer falling head over heels in love with the FL so much that he was so desperate to know her details that he went to her friend at their wedding night.

I mean couldn’t you ask her details the next day?

Unfortunately couldn’t go past that scene and switched off the TV at that point. A bit too far fetched and dramatic for my liking.

P.S. If the drama was somewhat entertaining then I might have given it a chance. But even the acting and drama left a bad taste in the mouth.

Now he is going to lie about his identity just to make FL fall in love because he already know he is not FL's type.

Isn't it kind of fraud?

The foundation based on lie. Obviously in drama they will show it as something romantic...duhh.

And honestly in today's time if a boy will become obsessed with me after 2 short meeting, i will be afraid, next thing he is going to do is harm me if i reject him. 😥

So after seeing what's happening in real life i don't find these acts cutesy.. lovey dovey.

Shahmeer is a total creepy obsessive stalker and the only reason people are not realising that is because billu darling is a conventionally good looking guy and is a innocent looking cutie.

I thought he will change identities either to run away from his life or because he has some personality disorder or for some political reasons but what do we have here? A UK return highly educated guy from a rich respectable family stalking a random preachy girl he met twice and that too to a level where he is ready for identity theft

Such a cliche 90s bollywood track .

If they wanted it to be this cliche atleast make the fl likeable enough for him to be so obsessed with her. She just start giving lecture and preaching at the drop of a hat and that too in bad urdu and weird expressions . Only a person with hearing problem will fall for her. Paka paka ke logo ko Marti hai ye ladki.

What was billu darling thinking while signing this drama?

That look he gave to her in the bus for straight 5-10 mins was extremely uncomfortable to watch.

In real life even if a good looking guy from a so called Shareef khandaan does this, the girl would either scream or would freeze out of fear.

The dual identity thing might have interested him. He has never done this before so career wise good for him & he is getting appreciation too (except these few things like stalking, identity theft etc..sadly 😞)

Also, there is more to it I guess..this identity change might lead him to something else too which we will get to know in later episodes.

Right now it appears to be predictable, sweet & cute romance but I don't think Bilal at this stage would sign up for such an easy plot/story.

Mujhe bhi 90s ki bollywood movies ki yaad aagayi - hero ka heroine ko follow karna, bus mai chadh kar hero ka heroine ko tadna, the disguise, etc. Does anyone remember Hero No. 1 with Govinda and Karishma Kapoor. In the movie, Govinda is the son of a rich businessman who pretends to be a servant so he can get in Karishma's house and win her fam over for their rishta. Since I liked 90s ki chichori films, I am not minding IM - and even enjoying the cliched bits. But at least I have no illusions as to its inspirations. Considering IM is coming from a prestige team, would love to see how reviewers will now fall all over themselves calling this fresh and modern and the hero antics cute and loving. Yahi sab kisi Geo ke 7 pm soap mai hota toh inhi reviewers ka rando rona shru hojata.

It's definitely gonna get darker and isn't gonna be so light hearted and simply. That I know but the main reason for him to change his identity is such a big let down. Shibra did say to her friend that the guy can send a proposal and if her father likes then she will marry him. It's not like she down right rejected anrich guy's proposal.

He definitely is gonna get revenge from people who put shibra and her family in jail and I think in that process her father is gonna die. If it's like ghajani she herself might die and start coming to his imaginations like his mother. That would actually make it dark but then I doubt this drama will go to that extend. The makers might want happy ending for the leads.

Is it only me who is finding this drama super unrealistic and cringe too.

Both lead characters are irritating. Who does that drama on friend's wedding and gives gyaan on dowry. And who interferes and ruins friend's wedding night.

It's not just you

The wedding night thing is comedy and that's fine. A lot of male friends deliberately tries to ruin their friend's wedding night for fun. But shahmeer's desperate and obsession with shibra which is shown as love is illogical. In KA we get why salman and asfar were attracted to Aaliya. She has that aura around her. But why is a UK return highly educated rich guy going crazy over a preachy lecturer?

That was not fine for me because he was not doing it to tease his friend, he behaved immaturely for that irritating girl, who he met for twice only. He could have wait for till morning.

Why they are presenting Shibra as most righteous person, whoever will get her will be the luckiest person 🥴
