Even when sahiba came to know, despite saying sorry he was expecting to trust him, when his actions towards seerat were questionable. Sahiba - She did not directly communicate the issues with Angad. She trusted seerat but not Angad. If she did not trust angad, but should not have trusted also seerat. He doesn't believe anything Sahiba says about Seerat except that one line. In fact he doesn't believe anything Sahiba says, not even when she said she did not file case against Daarji, not even when she said she doesn't know who send her bouquet, called her a liar but believed that one line that Seerat is innocent and believed it to such extent that he thinks she is innocent after shirt change, farmhouse date and chaat date offer.

Forget the proposal , what about rest actions. When he knew that seerat is the reason, still he did manintain distance with her. If she would have communicated , what is the guarantee , he would have believed , as i past he never believed her. My explanation:

Angad ko har haal main Seerat chahiye thi. Seerat over estimated and thought he cares about thought process and all. But he was like ohh you lied about status and cheated with my brother, no problem, I will arrange your wedding with him so we can live in same house.

He himself said that he is ok to forgive the fraud but not the fact that he had to marry Sahiba and as Vadaa kumar ki Pakki zuban, he proved it by giving all sorts of excuses and comforts to Seerat who actually was instrumental for the fraud.
