Well described.abhi can't survive in this chakravyuh as he will die. His mom lived for him till now. She has made mistakes but relented too. But story is ak zidd vs matas zidd any day. She is the triology. Any day if Manju comes for them they unite. This time what she said might be wrong to abort baby as per surface audience. It's for larger outlook for next generation to not to have spat in between kids with jealousy and insecurity. She took that pain for abhi and survived for him to give happy family .abhi is doing same to give that happy family image to his son and keeping ak and her kid on head. He will get it once he enters in. That kid will be just a raised kid name will be father of abhi but he won't get any rights. Ak never let nav chose anything for abhir it's all her decisions only and he is just a ha mein ha. Now as father is dead abhi has to give more more to that kid and pacify her or him so that they won't get humiliated. In this abhir will be torn as he knows facts now. When ak replaced nav and his truth , abhir is unknown to her nonsense. Now kid is grown up saw everything in front of him so that kid will be abnormal. Abhi won't leave abhir any day as it's his kid. How? How exactly is this worse than WD. Both situations are drastically different. But why is everyone taking this to mean that he has abandoned his mother or chosen Ak over his mother? Ak he actually abandoned. He broke off their relationship. Here, he has done nothing of the sort. This is not a statement on Abhi-Manjari relationship at all. You think he won't still maintain a relationship with Birla house? He works at Birla hospital. He will come home to meet both Ruhi and Ma. He will just stay somewhere else. Why is this so wrong?

I don't understand this at all. IF people agree that Manjari is wrong to ask for abortion, then Abhi is right to leave the house and offer Ak marriage with both her kids.

But I don't consider this situation like to like with WD. Then Akshu was his wife, and he chose his mother over his wife. There was an actual choice there. Whereas, now there are too many factors on Akshara's side - main being Abhir and MJ was conveniently negative. He wasn't actually making a choice here, he was surrendering to the wishes of his son because no one was helping him to make Abhir understand. That is why it is consistent with his character.

And Abhi has defended her countless times. I don't see why its wrong for him to tell her to back down now. And he wasn't rude to her or anything. He explained things clearly and they just have such a big difference of opinion that it cannot be resolved in time. Abhir is already sick, and Ak is weak.

I don't think he broke her heart here. I don't think their relationship is so weak or fragile to be affected by this disagreement. I doubt Manjari will hold onto anything for too long and same goes for Abhi. They didn't fight, they weren't mean to each other, both of them understand that the other is talking from a place of love. Infact both of them also understand each other's POVs. But this is something Abhi has to do. And Manjari has to understand that.
