He has been purposely made dumb in order to keep Seerat’s role as it is right now. Otherwise she will lose all significance. That said, I feel the makers are trying to show that whatever Seerat and Manveer are currently planning and plotting and doing makeover was not noticed by Angad as he his attention is towards Sahiba so he can be thought of ignorant of what is happening at the mansion. Oh okay. No worries. So basically aaj ke episode mei Sahiba aane ke pehle, Seerat ko Jasleen ne trigger kiya tha on middle-class harkate and Shimlapuri.
Seerat tried to act smart and Simran ko bola tumhari Sahiba didi. Tab Simran ne usko bola... sahiba meri didi nahi hai, meri bhabhi hai. Aap meri didi ho. Toh Seerat ka muh aur bhi utar gaya...
Then Angad and sahiba enter. Toh Seerat full shock ho gayi...
Jasleen: Sahiba toh wapas ghar nahi aane wali thi par angad usse wapas ghar le aaya. Sahi kehte hai... pyaar insaan se kya kya karwata hai. Waise Angad sahiba saath mei lagte toh bade sone hai... hmm.

Vankar is the creative behind this show Tmd, i know he stepped down but still he gave the initial direction to show. You should watch his previous interviews.
The fact that Vankar forced Star to shut down all its long running regressive Ekta shows when he came on Colors with Balika Vadhu. Star was forced to bring Shahi and Zama Habib who ushered a new era of content like yrkkh, Ek hazaron main , Sasural Genda Phool to give competition to Colors.
Vankar was the creative behind Diya Baati and Punar Vivah , Him and Zama were like the antidote to Ektas saas bahu crap which ruled itv but now look, at least Zama still writes progressive shows like Nimki.
For people who keep defending the trash writing saying ph house goal is to retain audience, Vankar was one of the first people who challenged Ektas reign on itv and said progressive content without endless fl torture can fetch ratings too. I wish I had link to that interview from a conclave of his, it was over a decade ago. It was quite insightful.
Forget regressive writing, the writing in this show is plain pathetic, not a single character stays in character.
