Things I noticed from today's episode:
There is this Guajarati saying in my house from my dad's side and my dadu liked to say it," Vinash kaade viprit buddhi" and that reminds me so much what Mahavir is going through right now. Initially I thought it was because of curse, but then I realised that Tillo Samrat plan came in action "BEFORE" the curse. So whether curse happened or not, Mahavir was going to be the scapegoat of ST scheme. We know Dhruv Tara have denounced the curse after being guided by Kanaji and are actively trying to find the killer, so its basically good vs evil right now. But I want less of Tillo and more of Dhruv and Tara,
When Mahavir was with Anusiya, I always thought it appeared that he took her for granted, there was not once scene between them which made me think he cares or loves her a lot. However, since being married he has become a besotted guy who is totally enamoured with his wife. I like the fact that he is supportive but what I don't like is his ability as a king. He is not a king who is making good decisions.
Now coming to the episode:
-Mahavir has entered kitchen politics. With Dhruv he knew his mother, although his mother was loud and never denied her hatred for Tara whereas the QM has not done anything overtly like that. When Tillo was going on about how QM was rude to her Mahavir went to talk was very strange as this is the same guy who doted on his mother. I would have found it more believable had he listened and talked to the QM at a later time. He is a king, and therefore taking rash decisions doesn't behoove him. Tillo has made him her puppet and he seems to have no qualms being one either.
-During the dinner time as well, he got involved in another drama with mother and wife. Again, as a husband commendable but as a king very low class in my opinion. I know we are worried that same may happen in 21st, but Tara is no Tillo and Dhruv is no Mahavir. Tara never badmouthed Dhruv's mum even when she deserved it, and Dhruv never took his mother's side just because.
- Samrat was funny going to Tillo that if they can put their dear Dhruv to death sentence, what will they do me whom they hate
I for some reason think he is not the same Samrat since his crazy girl has taken over. He seems to be half hearted doing whatever she cooks up and shows her the reason which is so weird and funny at the same time.
- Dhruv and Tara are joy of the show, we got less than 5min of their scenes but whatever we got I loved it. Dhruv going to the blind guy the red cloth, and I thought the dude is blind why would he care what the colour of the cloth is
. The care Tara showed when Dhruv got hurt, and Tillo of course picked up on it which made Dhruv/Nayak go that I am not Dhruv that can't handle some pain
he also wanted Tara to know that he is not Dhruv but Nayak. The scene with QM and Dhruv as Nayak was funny too. Him checking his get up but I did not understand the coin/button whatever it was and how come it hurt Nayak.
- So now we know that Samrat/Tillo tag teamed and murdered the king. Most probably its that ex fiancé of her's which I don't think is her ex anything who seems to have dressed up as Dhruv. I am tired beyond tired with this suspense and want this to end soon. First we are going to see Tara Mahavir fallout - she will tell him what Tillo has done, he will not believe her ergo the fallout. I really hope they end this mystery soon and get Dhruv Tara married and off to 21st.
In all this I feel for Anusiya, she did everything as a partner to support Mahavir. During the wedding to Tillo Mahavir had said that he will never forget the injustice done to Anusiya but seems like he has. I am not questioning his loyalty towards his wife, that I know he is doing because to him she is not a bigamist but a good woman but what I am questioning is his ability as a King and governing methods. Anusiya is under custody but doesn't know what is her crime, she is not been given a trial, and now until wedding she can't even go out. That is unfair even for 17th century standards. I now don't want her with Mahavir, he doesn't love her, and has moved on. I think Anusiya will suit with Jay or bring in a new character for her.
I am happy that Dhruv will be back in his normal clothes, and with Tara and Kanaji they are a winning team, but please I don't really care for Mahavir's redemption. He can cry in silence I don't mind but I don't want to watch him repent or anything, instead give me Dhruv Tara and no interruptions.
